Every young person has a story worth telling, but not everyone has the same opportunity to tell it. Until now. Audible's Future Stories Fund is supporting Leeds-based Tribe Arts, Bradford charity South Square Centre and York theatre company Next Door But One. Tribe Arts will run a three-month spoken-word programme for 20 young people from Black, Asian and Global Majority communities, comprising 12 workshops and a public showcase of participants' work. South Square Centre will deliver an eight-month storytelling programme for 15 girls, culminating in a community "story map" of Allerton. Next Door But One will run its Next Gen Menfulness programme for boys aged 11 to 16, using theatre, movement and audio storytelling to create podcasts, spoken-word performances and youth-led audio resources. And now, Future Stories Fund is now expanding with a new program launching in Mexico City.
