Since 2011, Comcast has connected millions of Americans to low-cost Internet through our industry-leading Internet Essentials program. Comcast also supports Digital Navigators to help connect more people with the tools they need to succeed in the digital economy.
Expanding Access to Broadband
Around the country, Comcast is working to deliver high-speed broadband internet to homes and businesses in communities that don’t currently have access. Through public-private partnerships and our own private investments, we are actively supporting the goal of bringing access to broadband internet to all Americans.

Lift Zones
As part of Comcast’s commitment to connect people to the Internet, we have connected over 1,250 Lift Zones in community centers nationwide with robust WiFi solutions provided by Comcast Business. These Lift Zones enable students to complete homework after school even if they don’t have broadband at home.
Supporting Small Businesses
Comcast RISE is supporting the growth of all small businesses and individuals committed to uplifting their local communities. The program is built to help businesses and their communities thrive with a focus on economic growth. This year, Comcast RISE will award 500 recipients in five cities with a grant package that includes business consultation services; education resources; monetary grant; and creative production, media, and technology makeover.
