Weekly Nielsen Ratings: 1995-96 TV Season

Below are the full weekly ratings results for the entire 1995-96 television season. The following are newspaper clippings from USA Today, which was the only newspaper in the United States to regularly publish full-week viewership figures. This data was previously posted over at the TVAholics blog; however, the links are dead, so I've decided to post them here so they are at least available somewhere on the internet. Included below are the household (HH) ratings and shares as well as the total viewership (to 1-decimal place) for all programs that aired on the broadcast networks throughout the season. USA Today ratings were not available for the week ending June 16, 1996; however, the HH ratings & shares are provided from Broadcasting & Cable (B&C) magazine (but viewership is not). USA Today chart for the week ending June 16, 1996 has been located and is now included in the document. A second table is provided with weekly top cable ratings (for 50/52 weeks) which are also from B&C. (Note: cable data for the weeks ending September 24, 1995, January 14, 1996, and March 10, 1996 are mislabeled by B&C but the charts provided *are* for those weeks).
