Cinemax's 'Rellik' premiered April 13, 2018 to a minuscule 0.01 adults 18-49 rating and 58,000 viewers. It never really found an audience and concluded its six-episode run with an average of just 63,000 viewers. A different program, 'Trackers,' premiered June 5, 2020 to a dead zero 18-49 rating and 38,000 viewers, and somehow managed to crumble to a nearly invisible 11,000 viewers in its second week. Ratings were unavailable for the next three episodes of the program, but it concluded on a "high" note, registering a 0.01 in 18-49s and 48,000 viewers.

Warrior (Cinemax): Ratings Recap
UPDATED DEC 2020: Cinemax's 'Warrior' premiered April 5, 2019 to a low 0.03 adults 18-49 rating with 157,000 viewers and remained very stable throughout its first season, ticking up to 0.04 & dipping to 0.02 one only one occasion each. Over the course of its first season it averaged 133,000 viewers - on par with what Cinemax programs have pulled recently. It was renewed for a second season which premiered October 2, 2020 to a series-low 0.01 adults 18-49 rating with 67,000 viewers. The numbers continued declining throughout the season, hitting as low as 0.00 in the demo and less than 50K viewers. It concluded in December 2020 having averaged just 70,000 and has the distinction of being Cinemax's final foray into original programming.

Friday November 30, 2018 Nielsen Finals
Discovery's 'Gold Rush' found its way atop the Friday cable ratings on the last day of November, averaging a 0.64 A18-49 rating with 2.5 million viewers. The program also pulled cable-best numbers in both men 18-49 (0.8 rating) and people 25-54 (0.88). 'Live PD,' on A&E, was second at 0.62 in the key demo, cable best numbers in P18-34 (0.51), and 1.96 million viewers. On MTV, three episodes of 'Ridiculousness' were at 0.21/0.29/0.23 in F12-34 and 631,000/741,000/724,000 among total viewers. Over at Disney Channel, 'Andi Mack' found cable-best numbers among F12-34 (0.46), and showed upward promise among total viewers (833,000), as did 'Raven's Home' (747,000) to some extent. Elsewhere on basic cable was Syfy's 'Z Nation' (436,000) & 'Van Helsing' (318,000), Animal Planet's 'Tanked' (299,000), and OWN's 'The Paynes' (456,000). Finally, on premium cable, 2 episodes of HBO's 'Room 104' were at 164,000 & 135,000, and Cinemax's 'Tales from the Tour Bus' was at 94,000.

ESPN's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the Raptors and Celtics topped the Friday cable ratings with a 0.73 A18-49 rating and 1.82 million viewers. The lead-out game between the Bulls and Bucks had a 0.71 rating with 1.7 million viewers. The two games were at 1.1/1.04 ratings in men 18-49, 0.85/0.87 in males 12-34, and 0.69/0.71 in adults 18-34. On Discovery, 'Gold Rush' saw big numbers in M18-49 (0.75 rating), P50+ (1.34) and total viewers (2.38 million). Over at MTV, three episodes of 'Ridiculousness' were at 0.20/0.19/0.22 in W18-49, 0.18/0.19/0.20 in F12-34, and 532,000/560,000/613,000 in total viewers. Elsewhere, Syfy aired 'Z Nation' (531,000) and 'Van Helsing' (359,000), and Disney Channel had new episodes of 'Andi Mack' (894,000), 'Coop & Cami Ask the World' (834,000), and 'Raven's Home' (814,000). On premium cable, HBO aired 'Real Time with Bill Maher' (1.51 million) and two episodes of 'Room 104' (220,000/179,000), while Cinemax had 'Tales from the Tour Bus' (47,000).

A&E's 'Live PD' topped the Friday cable ratings, notching a 0.61 A18-49 rating with 1.78 million viewers. The program led the day in women 18-49 (0.65 rating) and females 12-34 (0.42). On Discovery, 'Gold Rush' ranked second in the day in the key demo (0.59), led the day in adults 25-54 (0.81), and averaged 2.44 million viewers. Over on ESPN, an 'NBA Basketball' between the Celtics and Jazz, took victory in both men 18-49 (0.86) & males 12-34 (0.66), averaging 1.35 million viewers. On MTV, three episodes of 'Ridiculousness' were at 0.29/0.28/0.24 in W18-49, 0.25/0.27/0.23 in F12-34, and 603,000/658,000/568,000 in total viewers. Disney Channel aired new episodes of 'Raven's Home' (849,000), 'Andi Mack' (843,000), and 'Coop & Cami Ask the World' (657,000), while Syfy had 'Z Nation' (457,000) and 'Van Helsing' (416,000). On premium cable, HBO had 'Real Time with Bill Maher' (1.69 million), and two episodes of 'Room 104' (216,000/147,000), and Cinemax aired a new episode of 'Tales from the Tour Bus' (76,000).

ESPN's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the Timberwolves and Warriors led a low-rated Friday on cable, notching a 0.81 A18-49 rating with 1.98 million viewers. The game led in men 18-49 (1.19 rating), males & females 12-34 (0.86, 0.33), and people 18-34 (0.69) & 25-54 (0.86). Coverage of the Thunder/Wizards game managed a 0.8 in M18-49, a 0.58 in M12-34, and 1.36 million viewers. On A&E, 'Live PD' led cable in the W18-49 demo (0.59) and averaged 1.79 million viewers. Discovery's 'Gold Rush' ranked second in the A25-54 demo (0.76), and was robust in people over 50 (1.22) and total viewers (2.16 million). Over at MTV, two episodes of 'Ridiculousness' were at 0.24/0.33 in W18-49, 0.20/0.29 in F12-34, and 537,000/694,000 in total viewers. On Syfy, both 'Z Nation' (457,000/0.11) and 'Van Helsing' (457,000/0.10) remained relatively stable, and on HBO, 'Pod Save America' finished its run with 382,000 viewers. Finally, the second season premiere of Cinemax's 'Tales from the Tour Bus' tied its series-low in the demo (0.01), but fell to a new low in viewership (31,000), down from its first season finale back in Nov. 2017 (45K).

Friday September 28, 2018 Nielsen Finals
FOX took victory in the demo (1.3/7, 5.99 million), while CBS led in viewership (7.35 million) on the first Friday of the broadcast season. The new season premiere of FOX's 'Last Man Standing' (1.8/10, 8.1 million) had its highest ratings in six years, and provided an ample lead-in for new series 'The Cool Kids' (1.5/8, 6.9 million). ABC (0.6/3, 3.24 million) was in third with both 'Truth and Lies: Jonestown' (0.6/3, 3 million) & '20/20' (0.7/3, 3.4 million) at fractional numbers. CBS (0.8/4) premiered the same Friday line-up as last year: 'MacGyver' (0.7/4, 5.8 million), 'Hawaii Five-O' (0.9/4, 7.5 million), and 'Blue Bloods' (0.9/4, 8.8 million). NBC (0.5/2, 3.5 million) aired a new 'Dateline' (0.7/4, 3.9 million) after reruns of 'Manifest' and 'New Amsterdam.'

Friday September 21, 2018 Nielsen Finals
The return of A&E's 'Live PD' topped all of Friday cable with a 0.64 A18-49 rating and 1.9 million total viewers. The program was robust in women 18-49 (0.7 rating) and females 12-34 (0.42), leading cable in both demos. Two college football games on ESPN had 0.75/0.54 ratings in men 18-49 with 1.64 million and 1.3 million viewers. On HBO, 'Real Time with Bill Maher' stayed strong, averaging a 0.32 rating (0.38 in M18-49) with 1.7 million viewers; 'Vice' had 243,000 viewers and 'Animals.' managed 226,000. Syfy's numbers were rather abysmal: 'Wynnona Earp' struggled with only 460,000 viewers, while 'Killjoys' averaged only 482,000. In younger programming, Disney Channel's 'Raven's Home' notched a 0.31 rating in F12-34 and a 0.45 in T12-17, with 824,000 viewers, and 'Bunk'd' was even worse, at 0.26/0.41 in those demos with 650,000 viewers. Finally, Cinemax's 'Outcast' had 93,000 viewers and a 0.03 in the demo.

MSNBC's 'The Rachel Maddow Show' led another slow day on Friday cable notching a 0.57 rating in the key cable news demo, adults 25-54, and averaged 3.66 million viewers - the most on cable for the day. HBO's 'Real Time with Bill Maher' notched a 0.39 rating in men 18-49 with 1.74 million viewers. Two episodes of MTV's 'Wild N Out' were at 0.27 & 0.24 in W18-49, 0.24 & 0.21 in F12-34, and at 440,000 & 415,000 in total viewers. Scripted series airing include: Syfy's 'Wynonna Earp' (490,000) & 'Killjoys' (428,000), Nickelodeon's 'I Am Frankie' (791,000), and Cinemax's 'Outcast' (98,000).

ESPN2's College Football game between TCU and MSU (not in the list below) led a very slow cable day on Friday, with a 0.33 adults 18-49 rating and 1.076 million viewers. The game scored a 0.48 rating in men 18-49 (best on cable for the day), and a 0.28 rating in males 12-34 (also best). Only NBC's 'Dateline' (0.6) had a higher rating in men 18-49. On HBO, 'Real Time with Bill Maher' took third, averaging a 0.32 rating in the key demo with 1.68 million viewers; it did a 0.46 rating in people 25-54, second on cable only to 'The Rachel Maddow Show' (0.47). Over at MTV, two episodes of 'Nick Cannon Wild N Out' were at 0.28 and 0.31 respectively in females 12-34, and at 468,000 and 502,000 in total viewers. Those F12-34 figures ranked third and fourth on cable, behind an 11pm Kevin Hart Comedy Central special (0.34, 407,000 viewers), and 7pm 'E! News' (0.33, 374,000 viewers). 'Safeword,' also on MTV, had a 0.28 rating in F12-34 with 415,000 viewers.

'Live PD,' on A&E' topped the Friday cable ratings, notching a 0.70 rating with 2.05 million viewers, including a 0.88 in people 25-54 and a 0.96 in adults over 50. On MTV, two episodes of 'Nick Cannon Wild N Out' were at 0.47 & 0.42 in women 18-49, at 0.48 and 0.45 in females 12-34, and at 701,000 & 632,000 viewers. 'Safeword' was at 0.32 and 0.30 respectively in those demos with 459,000 viewers. WEtv's 'Mama June: From Not to Hot' scored a 0.46 in women 18-49 (0.47 in adults over 50), with 1.04 million viewers. Other programs of note airing include Syfy's 'Wynonna Earp' (480,000), 'Killjoys' (398,000), HBO's 'Animals' (210,000), and Cinemax's 'Outcast' (113,000).

Tales from the Tour Bus (Cinemax): Ratings Recap
UPDATED 2018: Cinemax's 'Mike Judge Presents: Tales from the Tour Bus' premiered September 22, 2017 to a 0.02 adults 18-49 rating with 68,000 viewers, and achieved an almost identical result in its second episode a week later. It hit a season-high 0.04 rating with 125,000 viewers in its sixth outing, but concluded its first season down to a 0.02 rating with 45,000 viewers. It was renewed for a second season which premiered in 2018 and averaged a 0.02 rating with 59,000 viewers.

AMC's 'The Walking Dead' led all of cable in adults 18-49 with a 3.87 rating, and had 8.69 million viewers. The show topped the day in all major demos: males & females 18-49 (4.1/3.64), males & females 12-34 (2.81/2.39), adults 18-34 (2.87) and adults 25-54 (4.38). 'Talking Dead' notched a 1.28 rating and 3.12 million viewers; fourth on the week. FXX's 'You're the Worst' had 205,000 viewers on Wednesday. On Disney Channel, 'And Mack' notched a 1.20 rating in teens 12-17 with 1.4 million total viewers, and 'K.C. Undercover' had a 0.95 teens 12-17 rating with 1.34 million viewers.

The game between the Broncos and Chiefs also led all of cable in adults 18-34 (2.96), adults 25-54 (4.06), and adults over 50 (4.63). VH1's 'Love & Hip Hop' had a 1.62 rating in females 18-49 & 2.22 million total viewers, 'Scared Famous' had a 0.95 rating in that demo with 1.22 million viewers, and 'Martha & Snoop Potluck' had a 0.77 rating & 1.02 million. Three hours of 'WWE Entertainment', on USA, ranged between 0.87 and 0.98 in adults 18-49 (1.13 - 1.69 in males) and between 2.52M and 3.1M viewers. On the scripted side, Ovation's 'The Halcyon' had an invisible 0.01 rating and 104,000 viewers.

The game notched a 10.1/24 persons 2+ rating/share on ESPN (736,000 viewers), and an 8.9/22 rating/share (649,000) on the local affiliate WPHI IND. In Washington DC, the game had a 5.6/16 rating/share (363,000 viewers) on ESPN, and a 5.5/16 (353,000) on the local ABC affiliate. VH1's 'Love and Hip Hop Hollywood' trailed only 'Monday Night Football' in the female 18-49 demo (1.59), and was fourth on cable in the adults 18-49 demo (1.09); it had 2.14 million viewers. Three hours of 'WWE Entertainment' all made the top 10 on cable in adults 18-49 (1.15, 1.09, 0.94 respectively), and notched 3.33M, 2.97M, and 2.56M respectively in total viewers. In males 18-49, it did 1.45, 1.28, and 1.18. The season premiere episodes of Disney XD's 'Pickle and Peanut' were at 0.01 and 0.02 at 7AM & 7:30AM respectively, and at 71,000 & 65,000 viewers.

Ratings highlights for the week of October 16, 2017 - October 22, 2017 on U.S. cable.
MONDAY
ESPN's 'Monday Night Football' between the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans notched a 2.89 18-49 rating and 8.38 million viewers. In the 18-49s, it was the top airing for the whole day on both broadcast and cable. The game led the entire day in adults 18-34 (2.38), and trailed only 'The Big Bang Theory' in adults 25-54 (4.0 vs. 3.3). Coverage on the MLB ALCS between the New York Yankees and Houston Astros was second on cable for the day with a 1.28 18-49 rating (1.71 in males), and 5.11 million viewers. In New York City, the game had 1.39 million viewers, and in Houston, the game notched 471,000. The season finale of VH1's 'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood' had a 1.6 females 18-49 rating and 2.12 million viewers; and part 1 of the 'Reunion' special followed at a 1.71 females 18-49 rating and 2.25 million viewers. The season 2 premiere of 'Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party' found 1.35 million viewers and a 0.94 in females 18-49.
