SATURDAY FEBRUARY 27, 2016 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Saturday February 27, 2016:

Saturday was a slow night on cable. The movie SAN ANDREAS, on HBO, (not on this list) led the night in 18-49's and total viewers with a 0.97 and 2.82 million respectively. On ESPN, four COLLEGE BASKETBALL games aired and ranged between 801,000 and 1,859,000 viewers. MYTHBUSTERS, on Discovery, dropped to 834,000 viewers (from 958K), PITBULLS AND PAROLEES, on Animal Planet, rose to 1.17 million, and GHOST ADVENTURES, on Travel was up to 713,000. On Starz, BLACK SAILS dropped to 603,000 viewers this week, on Destination America, MOUNTAIN MONSTERS jumped to 460,000, and on Oxygen, KILLER POST was up to 301,000. Over at Nickelodeon, NICKY, RICKY, DICKY & DAWN notched a 0.38/0.42 females/males12-34 rating with 1.48 million viewers, GAME SHAKERS had 0.35/0.41 with 1.443 million, and 100 THINGS TO DO had 0.38/0.32 with 1.17 million. On Reelz, AUTOPSY fell to 193,000 viewers, and COPYCAT KILLERS began with 148,000. Among lower rated cables, THE ARTFUL DETECTIVE, on Ovation, had 178,000, GEORGEFEST, on VH1 Classic, had 22,000, and BEOWULF, on Esquire, was down to 159,000. Finally, on Fuse, THE LINEUP had 16,000 for its timeslot debut.

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 13, 2016 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Wednesday January 13, 2016:

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL, on FX, concluded its fifth season with 2.25m viewers, which was down from 1.84m last week, the 5.81m of the season premiere, and from the 3.27m of the fourth season (Freak Show) finale. DUCK DYNASTY, on A&E, was at 2.07m and 2m for its two episodes, and MOB WIVES, on VH1, was at 1.32m and 1.36m for its two (the highest numbers since January 16, 2014, which had 1.44m). FXX's IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA dropped to 511,000 for its second episode of the season (from 716K), and MAN SEEKING WOMAN was down to 249,000 this week (from 280K last week), which was higher than the 185K that saw the second episode of the first season. On TruTV, FACEOFF began its tenth season with 982,000 viewers, the lowest ratings for a premiere ever (& down from the 1.05m from the ninth season finale); BILLY ON THE STREET was at 180,000. YOUNGER aired on three different networks: on Nick-at-Night it was at 560,000 and 492,000, on TV Land it was at 540,000 and 433,000, and on VH1 Classic, it was at 31,000 and 14,000; TEACHERS was at 514,000 for its Nick-at-Night run, and at 341,000 on TV Land. GRAVEYARD CARZ, on Velocity, was seen by 275,000 (from 307K), and MASTER P'S FAMILY EMPIRE, on Reelz, was at 137,000 and 136,000 for its two episodes. On Oxygen, FINDING MY FATHER was up a measly 1,000 viewers to 143,000, but RICH IN FAITH fell to 45,000 (from 71K). Finally, on GAC, FLIPPIN' RV'S was down slightly to 56,000 (from 64K).

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 28, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Monday September 28, 2015:

ESPN's MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL match-up between the Chiefs and Packers led all of broadcast and cable among adults 18-49 (5.13 rating), men 18-49 (7.15), men 18-34 (6.32), and total viewers (13.51 million). At VH1, LOVE & HIP HOP: HOLLYWOOD was at 1.93 in F12-34 with 2.49 million viewers, BLACK INK CREW hit a 1.75 in that demo with 2.17 million, and SHES GOT GAME logged a 1.32 with 1.58 million. MTV's AWKWARD & FAKING IT also scored well in that demo (0.98 & 0.69 ratings) and each also had sizable week-to-week growth in total viewers, up to 749,00 & 584,000 respectively. Also at MTV was GIRL CODE LIVE (263,000) and TODRICK (178,000). On ABC Family, SWITCHED AT BIRTH delivered 764,00 viewers (0.60 in F12-34), and CHASING LIFE concluded its second season with 486,000 - down from the 723,000 for the second season premiere, and 934,000 for the season one finale. Also of note today was the premiere of THE DAILY SHOW with new host Trevor Noah; it aired across all 12 Viacom networks, delivering a 1.44 18-49 rating & 3.42 million viewers cumulatively (which include the 0.44 & 1.09 million it received on its home network Comedy Central).

SUNDAY AUGUST 30, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Sunday August 30, 2015:

On FX, THE STRAIN bounced back from last week's series low (949,000), with 1.36m viewers for its 8th episode of the season (for comparison, the 8th episode of season 1 had 1.91m viewers). On AMC, FEAR THE WALKING DEAD lost almost 2m viewers from its premiere episode, down to 8.18m. On Showtime, RAY DONOVAN pulled in its second highest ratings of the season with 1.44m viewers (up from 1.37m last week), and MASTERS OF SEX also pulled in its second highest ratings of the season with 688,000 viewers (up from 643,000 last week). THE GREAT FOOD TRUCK RACE was up in its second episode of the season to 1.59m viewers (from 1.41m last week), and GIADA IN ITALY was a solid performer with 782,000 viewers. On E!, I AM CAIT was also up to 1.11m viewers (from 1.02m last Sunday).

THE MTV MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS was simulcast on 10 different channels: MTV, MTV2, VH1, VH1 Classic, TV Land, Comedy Central, BET, Centric, Logo, and CMT, See the separate table below the main ratings table for individual ratings by network. MTV pulled in the most viewers with 5.025m, followed by VH1 with 1.108m. The show pulled in a cumulative 9.827 million viewers, and in the 18-34 demographic, it was the highest awards show on cable this year. On Twitter, the show pulled in 21.4 million tweets (up from 12.6 million tweets last year)*
