Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
Baseball had been an American tradition for well over 100 years. Major League Baseball consists of people of all colors, religions, nationalities, and walks of life.
Every year at the beginning of April, in the middle of the week, children of all ages are waiting for that one day when most teams play the first official game of the season.
We're asking to recognize the traditions and cultural diversity that Baseball has brought us for all these years by recognizing Opening Day as a national holiday.
