At last night's Santa Clara City Council Meeting, they decided by a 4-3 vote to move forward on a 3-district voting system for City Council elections. The City currently has a court-mandated 6-district system and is currently in a lawsuit about their voting districts.

Embezzlement
Location: 3200 Block of Mission College Boulevard
A business on the 3200 block of Mission College Boulevard reported a possible case of embezzlement.
The responding officer learned a female employee stole cash from a store on five occasions, totaling $550. The store manager contacted the subject, she admitted to stealing the money and store management desired prosecution. She was arrested.
