Locksley doesn't kill. That would be far too easy. Instead, he commits his crimes through stealth. Sneaking, distracting, avoiding. He is never seen, and seldom heard. As he grows in popularity and notoriety, so will his inventory. An arsenal of gadgets await discovery in a quest to rob from the rich and give to the unheard.
A hundred challenging and exciting levels lie ahead, but that is only the beginning of the Volume. The community are free to build their own challenges, even releasing their own takes on the core levels. Volume will evolve, warp and grow as players make their mark on Locksley's legend.
Volume is a near-future retelling of the Robin Hood legend, starring Danny Wallace (Thomas Was Alone), Charlie McDonnell and award-winning, critically-acclaimed actor Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings, Planet of the Apes) as Gisborne.
IF YOU HEAR THIS, AND IF YOU WANT TO HELP ME, BE LOUD, BE HEARD. FIGHT GISBORNE’S CONVENIENT LITTLE HIERARCHY. I’LL FIND YOU, AND IF I’M LUCKY, I MIGHT BE ABLE TO CONVINCE YOU TO JOIN ME.
- Rob Locksley
Hi #VolumeFriday peeps. I hope you have been surviving outrageously this last week. Things here have been going swimmingly here at the studio with Mike tinkering awaay. If you haven't checked out the Steam sale, I recommend doing so right now. If you have a friend who hasn't played Volume yet, now is the time to get them into it as we have 78% off a bundle of both Volume and Mike's earlier project, Thomas was Alone. Bargain!
Hello, hello, hello #VolumeFriday-ers! Good to see you here and ready for another Friday of Volume, games and just general games industry amazingness. The studio is having a ball in their creation of the next game. We are all excited to be working with such talented people and to all be in the same country generally makes such a difference.
After E3, it seems that the response has been super positive. I've been most taken with the beautiful trailers that have emerged from this conference and wanted to ask what your favourites were.
Welcome, welcome my fine #VolumeFriday peeps! We've had an eventful couple of days surrounding the UK election and you can definitely feel it in the streets. How this plays out for UK Brexit negotiations is yet to be seen as well as what this means for the UK games industry. We will watch and find out soon.
E3 is opening Tuesday and for the first time is allowing non industry types to attend. The general public will be able to see unfinished titles and play some fairly new vertical slices of some of their favourite franchises. Is this risky? Some are worried about how an enthusiast market will deal with unfinished code but other are interested to see what the players are excited about.
How exciting that the weekend is here again, and therefore it is #VolumeFriday where the excitement continues. The studio is enjoying not only the warmer days but also the political upheaval a general election brings. Well....maybe not enjoy, but it is a little different.
This week I thought I'd talk about Augmented Reality or AR.
Happy #VolumeFriday my friends. I am hoping you are having fun buying up big in the Steam Sale. I know there are multiple bargains to be had, including Volume being on sale for 75% off which is something to write home about!
