Our goal for 2014 is to increase instruction in the Learning Garden. We are continually adding new resources and garden initiatives focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). These include teacher workshops, lesson plan recommendations, and garden-specific advisement for schools. Through STEAM targeted instruction in the garden, our aim is to help students relate to real world situations and techniques. The below STEAM based lesson plans are aligned with the Common Core Standards as well as Next Generation Science Standards and are free, online resources for schools to use!
