Enter to Win a Polyvinyl Prize Pack!

Enter for a chance to win colored vinyl albums from STRFKR, Sonny Smith, and Shugo Tokumaru!!

Polyvinyl Records and Paste are giving away a prize pack of three of the most exciting recent releases from the label! Enter now for a chance to win In Focus? from Shugo Tokumaru, 100 Records: Volume 3 from Sonny Smith (of Sonny & the Sunsets), and Miracle Mile from STRFKR.

In the past, Portland, Ore.-based Starfucker (STRFKR) has received almost as much attention for its not-always-accessible moniker as for its immensely accessible dance hooks. Their latest album, Miracle Mile, is a result of contributions from each member of the band, a polished creation filled with swirling keyboards, rhythmic guitars, irresistible basslines, an unrelenting beat. 'Miracle Mile' is available Feb. 19 on a cream-colored vinyl.

In 2010, Sonny Smith (of Sonny & the Sunsets) took on the incredibly ambitious task of creating 100 fictitious bands and writing songs for each, an undertaking he dubbed the "100 Records Project." 100 Records: Vol. III features 15 of these artists and bands (such as "Fruitcakes" from Zig Speck & the Specktones), and is available on a white vinyl.

Shugo Tokumaru has wowed critics and fans the world over with a sound that draws as much from classic Beatles-esque melodies as his own unique spin on Japanese pop. Though the vocals are sung solely in his native Japanese, his universal melodies transcend the lack of lyrical familiarity to Western ears. His most recent album, In Focus, is available on a clear vinyl.
