Approximately 2,500 Reserved Seat Tickets are Available for Finals

As many as 2,500 reserved seat tickets are available for the 2011 NCAA® Men’s College World Series® (CWS) Finals games June 27 and 28.  “Historically, a good selection of reserved seat tickets are available for these games because of tickets turned back to the box office from the team allocations,” said Herb E. Hames, ticket chairman of CWS, Inc.

Course Change for 2011 Road to Omaha Run

A new route has been announced for the inaugural Road to Omaha® Run on Sunday, June 26, starting at 9 a.m. Central time, according to the event’s organizers. The new route (see map) will begin and end south of the Elmwood Park pavilion, 802 South 60th Street, with the 5K Race course going through Elmwood and Memorial Parks. The road run is being held as part of the 2011 NCAA® Men’s College World Series® (CWS) taking place at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, June 18 – 28/29.

Reserved Seat Tickets Are Available at Box Office

UPDATE as of 6/24/2011: There are now 2,500 reserved seats available per game at the box office. The purchase or upgrade from GA limit is now six.

The long-standing tradition of offering reserved seat tickets for sale at the box office every day that games are played is alive and well at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, according to Herb E. Hames, ticket chairman of College World Series of Omaha, Inc. (CWS, Inc.).

Rosenblatt Stadium Memorabilia Up for Grabs

The Omaha Zoo Foundation announced today that it will hold an auction to sell memorabilia items from Rosenblatt Stadium, allowing the public to own a part of the Rosenblatt legacy. The Omaha Zoo Foundation took ownership of Rosenblatt Stadium on June 9, 2011. The live auction, presented by Auction Solutions, will take place on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. CDT on the southwest side of Rosenblatt Stadium. Live online bidding provided exclusively by Proxibid will commence at that time. Auction registration and pre-bidding are already available via www.rosenblattauction.com (launching June 14) or www.proxibid.com/rosenblatt. All proceeds will benefit Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo Infield at the Zoo Legacy Project, which will immortalize the history of the Crown Jewel of college baseball.
