Ke$ha holds onto the top spot for a second week with We R Who We R. Further down the chart, there have been big moves by several ARIA Award winners including Sia (Clap Your Hands hits a new peak at No.17), Angus & Julia Stone (Big Jet Plane also grabs a new peak at No.21), The John Butler Trio (Revolution back up from No.64 to No.41), Powderfinger (Burn Your Name re-enters at No.59), Washington (Sunday Best re-enters at No.64) and The Temper Trap (Sweet Disposition and Love Lost re-enter at No.69 and No.84 respectively). Thanks to its spot on Packed To The Rafters, Coldplay’s 2005 single, Fix You has re-enters the chart at No.37 this week. The single previously peaked at No.25 in September of 2005.

Start Me Up, reached No.1 in Australia November 1981. Livin’ On A Prayer is perhaps Bon Jovi’s best-known songs. The highest place it reached here in Australia was No.3 It has re-appeared on the chart this week at No.90. |

Much like on the singles chart, the winners and performers from this year’s ARIA Awards have all experienced a jolt up the chart. Angus & Julia Stone re-enter the top five with Down The Way at No.5, Washington moves up twenty-two places with I Believe You Liar at No.13. Sia moves back into the top 20 with We Are Born at No.18, April Uprising moves up ten spots for The John Butler Trio now sittig at No.21. Also, Powderfinger’s Golden Rule has moved up twenty spots to No.51 and Dan Sultan’s album Get Out While You Can has re-entered at No.99. ARIA Nominees - Tame Impala have re-entered the chart at No.84 with Innerspeaker.

Green’s first two albums explored hip hop while this album is steeped in soul music and is influenced by Motown and Stax. |
