Events calendar

Our events planner lists up and coming events that may be of interest to you.

The list will include things like Fire Authority meetings which any member of the public can come along to and observe, charity events that you can support to help raise money for a good cause, and things like fire station open days or community events away from the fire station we will be taking part in.

August

  • Golden Age Fair: Monday, August 3rd, from 10am to 4pm. Held at Fenland @ Your Service Shop in Chatteris. Senior Citizens in Fenland got a golden opportunity to find out what's on offer for the over 60s. The event is organised by Fenland District Council with imput from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service. Further details

September

  • Huntingdon Fire Station Open Day: Saturday, September 5, from 11am to 3pm at Huntingdon Fire Station. Meet your local firefighters and look around the fire station and fire engines. Find out how to stay safe in your home. Watch firefighters release a 'casualty' from a car using specialist cutting equipment. Activities also include: bouncy castle, face painting, barbecue. More to be confirmed.
  • Charity Car Wash: Held on Saturday, September 19, at Dogsthorpe Fire Station. Further details and times to be confirmed.
