Name tag
A name tag is a badge or sticker worn on the outermost clothing as a means of displaying the wearer's name for others to view.

"Hello my name is" stickers, first introduced by C-Line Products in 1959, became hugely popular.[1]
Many graffiti artists have been known to use these stickers as tags.[2]
Animals
[change | change source]Pet animals usually wear name tags. Name tags might also include contact information, like a phone number or house address. Pet name tags are usually kept on a collar. Alternatives to name tagging animals is sometimes branding, such as on farms.
