President Donald Trump has expressed his desire to stay on his diplomatic track with Iran following a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who arrived in a last-minute trip to Washington in a bid to press for more stringent conditions on any deal with Tehran.

Describing "a very good meeting" with the Israeli premier over the course of three hours on Wednesday, Trump said "there was nothing definitive reached other than I insisted that negotiations with Iran continue to see whether or not a deal can be consummated."

"If it can, I let the Prime Minister know that will be a preference. If it cannot, we will just have to see what the outcome will be," the U.S. leader added, noting that the U.S. strikes he ordered against three Iranian nuclear facilities following the 12-Day War launched by Israel in the midst of the previous talks between Washington and Tehran last June.

Trump has not yet publicly addressed Netanyahu's prior talk of outlining "principles" for U.S.-Iran negotiations, which the Israeli premier's office said ahead of the meeting "must include limitations on ballistic missiles and a halting of the support for the Iranian axis."

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported a green-card holder of 40 years, according to his wife.

Owen Ramsingh, a 48-year-old man who immigrated from the Netherlands in 1986, had been held by ICE since September 27, after he returned from a trip to Europe. Officials said he was eligible for deportation because of decades-old drug charges. His wife, Diana Ramsingh, who lived in Columbia, Missouri, has been planning to relocate to the Netherlands after not seeing him for months.

Newsweek reached out to Diana Ramsingh via Facebook as well as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and ICE via email for comment.

President Donald Trump campaigned on mass deportation of undocumented immigrants, specifically targeting those with violent criminal records, and his administration has ramped up immigration enforcement since his return to office in January 2025. DHS said that more than 3 million undocumented immigrants were deported during his first term in office.

British Police assessing Epstein Files evidence on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, are seeking advice from prosecutors on whether to launch a full scale investigation, a senior police officer said.

Anti-Monarchy pressure group Republic reported Mountbatten-Windsor to Thames Valley Police, which covers his former Windsor home, over emails sent to Jeffrey Epstein containing reportedly confidential material from the royal family member's role as a U.K. Trade Envoy.

Separately, Mountbatten-Windsor was accused by Virginia Giuffre of raping her in 2001 in London, New York and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Mountbatten-Windsor has always denied the allegations and settled a lawsuit brought by Giuffre for an undisclosed sum in 2022 without admitting liability.

Thames Valley Police has been assessing new email evidence, not Giuffre's original allegation, with a view to considering whether to investigate him for misconduct in a public office.
