KPO-20 Market Access Unit

The Market Access Unit promotes the interests of Finnish companies by addressing trade barriers and by intervening in unfair practices by means of trade policy. The Unit also strengthens Finland’s economic security by supporting the risk management of businesses and the diversification of production chains, as well as by promoting related international cooperation.

The Market Access Unit is responsible for:

• promoting market access and fair and equal trade conditions, including addressing trade barriers;
• import policy, including trade defence instruments;
• matters relating to economic security.
