I just used this brilliantly written line on a coworker who's having a rough day mourning the loss of a loved one. It's definitely helped me in the past. It's my most favorite scene in the entire show and Andre Royo's performace as Bubbles leaves me stunned each time. Time for another rewatch.

Visiting Baltimore/The Wire
Visiting Baltimore/The Wire

I was wondering/hoping this wonderful community could help me with this.

I am from the UK, I will be in New York for a week next month and have been weighing up making a day trip to Baltimore, mostly because I’m a huge fan of the show and would love to know that I have visited (and maybe get a Sun paper).

I appreciate the city is not a tourist hub like NYC/BOS/DC etc, and that it is a bit of a crappy city, so I’m not expecting to be blown away by it or anything of the sorts.

Can anyone help me with any places to visit from the show/mentioned in the show?

There are obviously well-known street names Lafayette/Riggs/Calhoun/Pennsylvania/Gold etc, but I’m not looking to cop that WMD 😂

I know places like Faidley’s is still around and Chaps Pit Beef. But can anyone help out with any other places/locations relevant to the show that might be worth the visit, even if it’s just for the sake of a photo/to tell myself I’ve visited?
