The electrification of mobility continues to gain momentum, and we are actively shaping this transformation with our customers. 🤝⚡️ We are proud to share that we have received a major new order from Mercedes-Benz AG to supply a large volume of electric motors into the 2030s. "The new order reaffirms our long-standing partnership with Mercedes-Benz and shows that we can successfully contribute our expertise to technologically demanding projects as well," says Markus Heyn, member of the Bosch board of management and Bosch Mobility chairman. Our electric motors feature up to 98% efficiency and increased power density, thanks to new winding technology and innovative cooling. A scalable platform architecture also allows customers to integrate the powertrain flexibly and cost-effectively into a range of vehicle models. Even though markets in different regions are developing at different speeds and competitive pressures remain high, we are on course to deliver electric-driving solutions to all markets around the world. What if your car could not just warn you about accidents or traffic in construction zones but give you valuable extra seconds to react and stay safe by alerting you in case of black ice, sudden fog, heavy rain, or a wrong-way driver? That's exactly what our road hazard service is designed to do: Using anonymized real-time data from millions of connected vehicles, combined with weather and road information, the cloud-based service helps drivers anticipate various kinds of hazardous situations. Additionally, driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control and emergency braking assist can also use the predictive warnings to respond even more safely and precisely. Launched in 2024, the technology has been rolled out gradually and is now live in millions of passenger cars and commercial vehicles across Europe and the United States. Since March 2026, this also includes selected BMW Group models, and we're planning to roll out the service gradually in additional BMW vehicles over the next few years.
