Queen – Live Killers

Don't understand why the reviews of this album at the time were so bad. So they overdubbed it in the studio - so did everyone else. Freddie sounds great to me. Of course he's not going to sound like he does in the studio. Brian May is a monster. Don't believe the haters. This rocks and this pressing is bananas good.

Bought mine in HMV so far so good I’m on side one and there is some remastering in this version for sure most likely the 2001 remaster put onto vinyl!!

I too had this at one point. Though, sadly, there was only one disc in my copy . I don't remember which one.

My copyright has Lots of tics and jumps. Bad pressing !

anyone else having problems to find this release on Discogs? first, if you search Live Killers, or Queen Live Killers, the search shows you nothing but Iron Maiden and Kiss, oh, and Queen Live "Thrillers", then, if you go to the Queen page, find this in the releases, try open the tab to see all 279 or something versions of it, it doesn't open. Had to clicks in the comments to see if someone wrote a comment on this specific version.

My copy is a UK that I bought used 1987, rounded corners on the inners. Seems it wasn’t repressed in UK in the 80s?
I wonder why they left 4 blank squares in the corner of the center artwork?
Anyone else notice the red and green labels are the same colours as Virgin records labels? Not exactly the same hues but still red and green!

I bought it today and I reckon it’s the 2001 remaster that was used on the 2003 CD reissue.
The pressing is good with no issues, noise, pops or clicks. It does sound good, Deacons bass is punchy and beefy. The drums are great and the treble silky if a little rough. It’s best cranked loud as headphones don’t work as well because the stereo image shifts throughout the songs that have been edited. Goes from narrow to wide in parts.
I presume a CD digipack will surface soon too.

Finally a reissue available in all countries. It’s about time. And, it’s remastered. Does it sound different ? Not really but it has a bit more “body” and has a bit more bass. Heard this album at least a hundred times and I have about 8 copies of it ( og, japanese, uk, italy ) but my first impressions is that this one sounds the best . Pressed in Germany, no clicks, ticks, pops on my copy

Thanks for the comment that corrected my first review of this. I love the sound if it, I really think this is a great remaster. The pressing is fine, too, at least for sides 1, 3 & 4. Sadly my Side 2 has lits of clicks on the latter half. I recognize these on many pressings of the last 3-5 years, no matter who pressed it. Record Industry is usually quite fine, but not always.
In the end I would still recommend this if you don't own a near mint original. The clicks are faint but quite many, so it's a bit annoying. Might be just my copy, I don't know...
