Tool (2) – Fear Inoculum

Tool's fifth full length album, originally released August 30 2019.

CD versions have 7 songs and are slightly over 79 minutes long.
Digital versions have 10 songs (they include 'Litanie Contre La Peur', 'Legion Inoculant' and 'Mockingbeat', which are not included on the CD) and are slightly under 87 minutes long.
The official vinyl LP versions have 9 songs (they include 'Legion Inoculant' and 'Mockingbeat', which are not included on the CD) and are roughly 84 and a half minutes long.

The special limited edition CD has three (3) variant packaging available:

- Variant 1 (Priest Upright):
Full glossy cover with 7-sided geometric pattern on back, points of pattern ends in 14 solid circles.

- Variant 2 (Priest Bowing):
Matte finish with 9-sided geometric pattern on back, no solid circles at points, sides have a gloss geometric repeating pattern.

- Variant 3 (Danny's Drum Kit/Adam's Mural):
Glossy cover with dark elements in matte and 6-sided fractal star on back, eyes centered in star points, silver on black geometric repeating pattern on sides.

Due to the inclusion of a 4 inch video screen as part of the inside cover 'artwork', the physical edition is 4 times the price of an ordinary CD.

As of February 2022 the only CD release to not have the screen is the EU expanded book editions.

In 2022 the album was officially released on vinyl for the first time. The first official vinyl version made available was the ultra deluxe 5LP boxset, when copies signed by the band were sold exclusively at Tool shows from February 20 2022. The ultra deluxe 5LP boxset was subsequently made available unsigned in stores in April 2022, followed by a standard 3LP release in August 2022.
