Supporting Countries to Act on Climate
In 2019, the World Bank financed a transportation project in the coastal Western Area Urban District which addressed risks posed by climate change. The project identified vulnerable corridors through hydraulic modeling and created a more robust mobility system in the event of flash floods or landslides.
