​Temporary Closure of the Saint Mary's of the Barrens Campus

For the safety of all visitors as well as the construction team, the Saint Mary's of the Barrens Campus will have the following closures.

Saint Mary's of the Barrens Church will be closed for outside construction work beginning June 14 through Saturday July 22. It will re-open for Mass on July 23rd. Tours will be by appointment only during the dates of June 14-July 22.

There will be no daily Mass during this time.  However, the Monday Night Novena will be held at the Saint Mary's of the Barrens, Apostle of Charity Residence Chapel on June 19, 26, July 3, 10 and 17. All are welcome to attend, but we ask for your quiet and peaceful reverence while visiting their home.

Saint Mary's of the Barrens Grotto and Grounds will be closed June 14, 2017, until May 2018.

The Gift Shop will remain open during regular business hours through the duration of construction.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we move forward with this important project.

Like the Miraculous Medal, blessed oil is a sign of our faith and a reminder of God’s immense love. Its healing properties are found in the spiritual conversion of growing closer to our Lord – in prayer, in reading of sacred Scripture, and in reception of the Church’s sacraments, especially Holy Eucharist and Reconciliation.
