How do I become a Member?
You can apply online, by telephone +44(0)1937 546 060 or in person at St Pancras.
Do I need a Reader Pass to become a Member?
No you don’t. Anyone can become a Member, although Membership does not entitle you to a Reader Pass. You need to apply separately to use our Reading Rooms.
How do I claim my free book from the Crime Classics range?
Just pop in to the Shop at St Pancras and make your choice. You will need to surrender your voucher (which can be found in your Membership pack) in exchange for your free book. Does not apply to Associate Memberships.
How do I claim my discount in the shops and cafés?
Simply present your Membership card when you make a purchase and the discount will be applied.
How do I claim my four free tickets?
Your free tickets can be redeemed on all events except Adult Courses and Late at the Library evenings and will be applied at the point of booking. To book event tickets simply call the box office on +44(0)1937 546 546. If you bought Membership online, you can log into your online account and redeem your free tickets when booking events online. Does not apply to Associate Memberships.
What happens if I visit and forget/or have lost my Membership card?
Members will not be able to access discounts and Membership benefits such as admission to exhibitions and the Members’ Room without a valid Membership card. If you have lost your Membership card, a replacement can be printed from the Information, Tickets & Membership Desk at St Pancras. This will render your lost/forgotten card inactive. Alternatively you can telephone Customer Services on +44(0)1937 546 060. They will be happy to post a replacement card to you.
Who can I bring with me when I visit?
Members can bring a guest with them to exhibitions and into the Members’ Room. They can also bring up to two children (under 18) into the Members’ Room. Members can bring up to three guests into the Knowledge Centre Bar. Does not apply to Associate Memberships.
