Project and programme status update
The government has announced EEDA will close by March 2012. We have summarised the business support programmes that are still open, future delivery plans and activities which have stopped.
Supported over 120,000 businesses
EEDA has helped over 120,000 businesses flourish in the East of England, whether starting-up, growing or competing in global markets.
Helping people improve skills
EEDA has supported over 250,000 people to gain the skills they need for employment, making a positive contribution to future economic growth.
Attracted over 1.37 billion of investment
EEDA support has regenerated and rejuvenated places across the region, bringing in over 1.37 billion of investment.
