What is BlogHer looking for in ad network members??

  • You blog regularly (2-3 times a week)
  • Your blog is at least 90 days old
  • Your blog is public

    • Your blog adheres to our editorial standards

    You have a passion for blogging and are ready to get paid :)

...and that's pretty much it! No referrals necessary and no minimum monthly page views required!

Here are our answers to more frequently asked questions:

  • Can I keep my blog and my URL as-is?
  • Can I keep my voice? (Because my blog is a reflection of me, and I "tell it like it is.")

    How it works:

    • Fill out the application and fax it in. (Why do you have to fax or mail? We need your original signature.)
    • Upon acceptance of your application, we provide you with code within two business days, along with clear instructions on how to insert it and our contact info.
    • You determine the size of the ads you want to run.
    • BlogHer helps to increase your traffic and visibility by cycling your blog headlines alongside headlines from other quality blogs regularly under your ad strip.
    • Blogher recruits, signs and maintains relationship with advertisers who meet our strong, ethical standards of excellence.
    • Blogher markets and promotes you and the other members of the ad network.
    • Ads are based of number of impressions (or page views) not clicks.

    But how much can I earn?

    We've provided a calculator below to help you estimate your earnings. Note: This tool provides only an estimate! But we hope it can help you assess how your traffic could help you generate revenue from your blog. We are estimating your revenue share based on our average advertising rates and an estimate of one ad per blog per day. By "general" we mean advertising purchased across all topics; by premium, we mean a higher advertising rate if your blog qualifies for a premium topic area.

    Please also be aware that advertisers won't pay for impressions from "bots" or search spiders, so expect your traffic to be reduced by at least 20 percent. Enter your traffic below:
