Tonight we have a Neverwinter Nights Scripts file in the spotlight created by ChardWreck. Titled "Statues and Ice Puzzle", this is a fun puzzle in which you need to place the correct gems in the correct statue, if you fail you take some damage. You also have to do this while attempting to not slip upon the ice that covers the room, and the only way to rid yourself of the ice is to complete the puzzle. This file comes with a demo module and the author has given the builder a choice between a one time shot or a persistent system. We can see this being used in any number of situations, as well as added to or adapted to suit each individual builders need. Lots of fun for DMs/builders and players! Here's an excerpt:
Four statues. Four gems. Lots of very slippery ice. Put the correct gem into the correct statue while slipping about on the ice.
If you are successful you will melt the ice and reveal a secret buried beneath the ice.
Includes erf with everyt
hing you need to set this puzzle up.
Also includes a demo module.
UPDATE: Added a persistent version as seperate download
Thanks for your contribution ChardWreck. If you'd like your work in the spotlight, drop me a line

Reading through more reviews by the community on MoTB, we thought we'd share some more of them with you again. So far our impressions are that the Spirit Eater aspect is both loved and hated by the players, and perhaps slightly more players dislike the whole concept overall. Quite a lot of people have found the new camera modes troublesome in one way or another, this seems to be an issue that pops up often. Most of the reviews show that the players are very happy with the graphics, voice acting, and NPCs/Companions. The epic story and all the ramifications it presents appear to be well received, and finally a big hit is the new music scores.
We've decided to publish one player review by LordNightwinter, which is a well written and balanced review we think you will enjoy reading. Since it does contain some spoilers you'll have to go here to read it. We'd like to thank all of the players over at the NX1 forums for their excellent reviews, it has made for great reading indeed!
Gamespy have published their review of MoTB, giving it 3.5/5 stars which translates to "Good". Seems they did not like the new camera modes or Spirit Metre very much, but had other good things to say about the game as well. Here is an excerpt:
Pros: Great storyline and characters; fun quests; new classes; terrific additions to Toolkit; epic feats and spells; excellent use of lighting.
Cons: Poor camera; confusing and chaotic combat; bugs and gameplay glitches; issues with spirit meter.
For those who approach Neverwinter Nights 2 as a sort of a "build-your-own-RPG" kit, great things fall from Mask of the Betrayer like candies from a birthday pinata. Some of these are obvious -- new classes, new spells and spell effects, snow-covered terrain and dungeon tile sets and monsters such as Treants and Shambling Mounds can add new spice into modders' homebrew D&D; creations.
Despite its problems, Mask of the Betrayer is a good-but-not-great expansion pack that will certainly interest any D&D; fan. The new modding tools are an excellent addition to any homebrew RPG designer's bag of tricks and the single-player campaign is worth playing simply for the terrific story. If, in the end, Mask of the Betrayer's reach exceeds its grasp, better a game that tries to soar with the Celestials than one content to wallow in earthbound mediocrity.

Alignment-Free Spirit Eater Abilities by Rolenka(Skill/Feats) - Some say NWN2 tries too hard to assign alignment points to actions, when what really matters is your motives. Others just want to enjoy their spell-like abilities without screwing up their character build Whichever camp you fall into, this mod will allow you to use your Spirit Eater abilities without impacting your alignment.

Tonight we have a Neverwinter Nights Module in the spotlight created by KooKoo. Titled "Resurrection Gone Wrong", this module is approx 6-10 hours long with 2 side quests as well as the main plot. The premise is that you the player are transported into a fantasy setting, and you need to find your way back! The adventure will be doing just that, and adapting to a new and very different world where Zombies, Dryads and other unusual folk are not uncommon. Here's an excerpt:
This is a game for first through 6th level adventurers. I wrote it as a solo game, although I think it can be played multiplayer. I simply don't have the resources to test it.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if YOU were suddenly transported to a fantasy world?
This module assumes that you are walking along through the local park and get stuck in a thunderstorm. You run for shelter when suddenly you experience an explosion of light and sound. You feel yourself falling and everything becomes dark.
When you wake up, you are in an unusual room with two oddly dressed ladies talking. You feel strange, as though your skin doesn't fit right. Then you begin to have a conversation with the two ladies. That's when things take a turn for the weird.
Try to survive in someone else's body in a D&D; world. Can you get back? Is there some sort of dragon killing wand somewhere? Who the hell let all of these zombies roam around town anyway? This truly is a Resurrection Gone Wrong!
It is vital that you take ranks in either bluff, intimidate, or persuade if you wish to succeed in the final quest. You only have to have one of those skills.
There are four henchmen available; Merina, a sorceress/druid, Gothiya, a cleric, Kasath a lizardfolk barbarian, and Zombie Bob a rogue. I recommend taking them with you. They will make the battles a bit easier and they provide opportunities for humorous conversations.
Thanks for your contribution KooKoo. If you'd like your work in the spotlight, drop me a line.

Animated Textures for NWN2 by Camb(Custom Content) - HOW TO MAKE AN ANIMATED TEXTURE Create an image file of sizes: 128x256, 128x512, 128x768, 128x1024, 128x1280, etc (Height is 128, Width is 128 multiplied by 2, 4, 6, 8, etc). You can change the heigh, but then the width must match using the same simple formula. Start creating your animation. The party bar has been reduced by half too and the buffs now stand on 2 lines instead of 3. The target object or the targ
Safiya 2.0 by SushiSquid(Level 15-20) - Let's face it: not everyone thinks bald is beautiful. The problem for many is that they don't know how to fix this issue. Well, cancel that order of Rogain, because the solution is extremely simple. Simply download this file and stick it in your override folder (My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/Override). It will not conflict with anything, it will not cause any errors, but it also will...

"This poem is written along the line of thought where all of us share the same escapisme of the imagination.
I have had times in which I'd prefer living on my own, secluded from others, most namely reality. But I have grown, acknowledged what future brings and understand how to live my life. That is why I wanted to write a poem about the daily struggle our minds experience while escaping reality, as we are soaked into a world of imagination.
Feel free to use it, or comment (constructive) on it. I would love to hear what such users as yourself feel and think while reading this, and your experience. Please vote as well, so I could have a reflection of the users' opinion."
