Sieges took place over the weekend, and right here on Vault we have the results compiled for you. Of course, I was having too much fun at a wedding to notice, but I haven't forgotten them for you!
We are currently looking for siege reporters from the various servers, people who are politically aware and who know which clans are in which alliances, which clans are alts of other clans, etc. If you are interested, contact me via PM here on the site!
The Vault Network Art crew found some time on their hands and drew a nice outline drawing for Lineage 2. Your job is to tap into those creative juices and liven up the image a bit! Any coloring tool is allowed, (markers, watercolor, computer graphic applications) however, Ornery says that cool points are allocated for crayon colored images!
We started out this week by continuing with Canto's latest editorial. Do we as players have a responsibility to police ourselves and others when it comes to gaming? If you haven't already, step on in and vote in our current poll as it's ending tomorrow!
Jay also hit the streets and brought us the local siege report
Tuesday was all about the Hammerstrike Siege Event held on Lionna. Check out the complete coverage of this awesome and fun event by checking out:
And of course, we couldn't finish out the week without a visit to Grazzt Garage! Check out installment #6..and ladies, yes, the guy is taken!
See you Monday with more exciting news..including a NEW CONTEST open to all players WORLDWIDE!

Ooh i almost missed this month's feature ! I've been very busy trying to get my Doom Plate and my Tsurugi Duals, so i had little time to explore the world of Aden in search for another Babe... but i found one, along a very cool Dude of the Month !
In keeping theme with Wednesday's image of the week, we want to spotlight the collection of images we have from the Hammerstrike Siege from this past weekend's siege!
In the line of our current features on HammerStrike, I've taken a screenie from Aminya who was part of the Dwarven army gathered to defend Giran Castle on the Lionna server last Sunday. The battle was Epic and these brave dwarves have shown how far Dwarven Power can lead (as long as a barrel of beer survives) and stood against their enemy for 1h and 15 minutes long before finally being driven out, but they have earned the respect of many. The image shows their Final line of defence in the heat of the battle -- Enjoy!
Have you screened one of those exceptional shots? Want to share your visions? I'm looking for your screenshots of the areas that you find especially beautiful. All you have to do is send them in to Leyanire and we'll feature them on the front page of the Lineage 2 Vault.
Staff writer Nerukan and about 100 dwarves stopped by Lionna for the Hammerstrike Dwarven Siege this past Sunday. After the battle, Nerukan managed to get some time with Lord SalGrath for our clan spotlight feature.
If you attended the "Hammerstrike Event" on Lionna this past weekend, you might have run into Tinqr out on the siege field! This is what she had to report after that Sunday!
It was an interesting Sunday before Monday when I ran into Maryse back home. Normally on a Sunday like this one (the ones after Saturday) she is usually at her house paying people to go bludgeon nearby wolves. But today, today was a special kind of day. It was medication day, and Maryse was flying high on her medication. I like those days because she's always so much nicer and sometimes, not all the times, but on special times... she'll share. Those are really special days where we'll go play in the snow and beat the crap out of bats, rip the teeth from their faces, and bring them to town to trade for rewards from the townsfolk.
But today wasn't a batslap kind of Sunday. It was a more special Sunday.
A new week has started and sieges took place over the weekend. Right here on Vault we have the results compiled for you.

Last week, our poll asked the question: "Do players have a responsibility to maintain the health of a server?" This week, we're going to continue along that theme and discuss player events. This past weekend, the Hammerstrike Event was held on Lionna. What was the reaction?
The Siege was SUPERBE!!! I had a great blast biting the heals of those S graders *grin* hahahahaaa
Died about 33 times tongue and twacked a valid target about 150 times for the silly damage of 15 to 26 LOL.
Screened some, have some replays *grin* MAN this was Epic to me ^^ ~Leyanire
A player run event that added to the ingame enjoyment of a Lineage 2 player...and there was no GM involvement or planned event from NCSoft. This clan leader took the initiative to maintain the health and enjoyment of his server. What do you think? Did you attend the event? Did you have a great time or did you think it was a wasted effort? Tell us if you thought it was HOT...or NOT!
Canto brings a good issue to light with his latest editorial. Do we as players have a responsibility to police ourselves and others when it comes to gaming? Do we have a responsibility to help maintain the health of the game and its servers? Inspired by this thread, Canto poses a question that real clues you in on whether you're in a game community on your server or just on a server full of players of the game. Stop by the thread or vote in our current poll to give your view on the matter.
Monday was also the day of our local siege report for those of you following the battles and castle ownership. In other Monday news, Stratics had an interesting article on Community Maangement, with input from several community managers in the industry. Well worth a read.
Kytach submitted this week's screenshot, and it kicks with a creepiness. Check his screenshot out here.
And...
while you're poking around the Vault Network, check out the new Tabula Rasa Vault!
Have a great weekend, everyone!

That Orc Town is a tribal and colorful, spiritual starter town, we all knew...But have you all taken the time to really take a 'Tour'of f.e. the cave of Trials? If not, here's a view brought to us by Kytach that shows just how mystical orc land can be. -- Enjoy!

On Tuesday, October 2 at 9:30AM CDT (2:30PM GMT), we will be conducting database maintenance on portions of the PlayNC website. Customers will not be able to access their accounts or purchase products or merchandise in the store. The Support Center and Knowledge Base will also not be available during this maintenance window, which we expect to last up to two hours. We expect the PlayNC Account Management tools to be up and spinning around 11:30 PM CDT (4:30 PM GMT). We will post more information if there are any extra issues that may prolong this period of maintenance beyond the anticipated time.
L2 Stratics has a new article entitled "Community Management - Is It Really That Tough?"
NCSoft and Lineage 2's own Alyra was featured in the article, alongside Clint Worley (Producer of EverQuest) and Greg Wiatroski (Lead Developer of Toontown Online).

Canto expressed a very real issue in his rant this morning: Do we, the players, have a responsiblity to ensure that our game is maintained in a healthy state? Do we have an obligation to play the game as intended or is it perfectly acceptable to "break" the game for other players? Let us know what you think by voting in our poll!
