Umar Faruk Yunus is an experienced Information Technology professional with expertise in information systems management, project leadership, and cybersecurity. He holds a B.Tech in Information Management Technology and is currently pursuing an MSc in the same field. Umar has a diverse background in IT support, system implementation, digital literacy promotion, and project management. He has contributed to Wikimedia projects, actively participated in the Wikimedia Gombe Network, currently serving as the vice president/ program director, and organized community events focused on knowledge sharing and enhancing digital access. He is enthusiastic to technical writing, that makes him passionate about using technology to drive positive community impact and digital inclusion.
