Pink Floyd – Pulse

After 20 years I finally replaced the batteries. It blinks again! Great album.

I have the version with the LED light. There's a sticker on the back of the box that says "Printed in UK," but the disc matrix has embossed numbers ending in "NL" and on CD's is printed "Made in Holland". Is this configuration possible? I bought the discs at a second-hand store. Please help.

Fantastic box-set, has an amazing sound for a live album, has the lovely analog warmth to it. Great pressing as well, few small pops and that's it. The overall package is spot on, the booklet is really cool, so nice to see all those analog photos, love it. Missed the original, but more than happy to have this reissue.

If you can’t get an OG ‘95, then this is a great box set to have. Sounds great.
If you can get your hands on a UK ‘95 … then …. Holy shit … it’s ridiculous ….

This is the best sounding live album in my collection. No pops or cracks and perfectly flat pressing.
It’s fantastic.

Picked up a copy in great condition with the full box and photo book at a record show. Great audio quality that matches the DVD and YouTube production. Never thought this would be sitting in a show box. Paid $120 and may have been listened to once. Great overall quality.

Sold a kidney to buy a NM UK press …. So glad I did … this absolutely buries the 2018 reissue. The reissue is darker, more compressed, has bloated bass compared to this. Absolutely stunning …

If you look at the tracklists on both of the double-disc Gilmour-led live albums, you'll notice Pink Floyd didn't perform anything from Animals or The Final Cut. But really...would you expect them to play material from what were really Roger Waters pet projects? It would have been nice to hear them perform "Sheep", or maybe even "Pigs on the Wing"...but they avoided that album like the plague. And though I imagine David Gilmour would rather chew his own foot off than play anything from The Final Cut, I'm sure this band could have done excellent renditions of "Not Now John" or "Two Suns in the Sunset". Oh well.

A note of caution.

I have found that there are no inner lockout grooves on most of the sides. What happened is that the stylus went into the label and started to shave off some of it which got stuck on the stylus and was a bit tricky to remove. Happened twice.

Do make sure that you stop playing as soon as the music is over to prevent this.

This is an original first day of issue pressing so this may not be a problem with newer stampers.

Some songs has imperfections, and i hear
some distortions. However, the recording is good overall.

This set should be bought even just because the playlist. It covers all the essential songs and has the best version of Comfortably Numb solo in my opinion.

Photographs in the booklet are cool however context of the box could have been better. Maybe a poster or something.🥲

Consequently, it could have been better yet it is one of the best boxes that you can have if you are a Floyd fan. Performance is flawless.
