The Greek “Ethnofylaki” or “National Guard” is a military unit, officially and legally integrated into the structures of the Greek Army.
It is a form of state organization, with the task to “protect the state against any form of extraordinary, internal or external, threats”
A few weeks ago the Florina/Lerin Greek National Guard Battalion organized a festive gunfire training for its members and all potentially interested civilians. In the invitation for the event – public poster was distributed among the population.

EFA Condemns attacks against the Macedonian language in EU institutions

EFA sends letters of protest to the European Commission, European Parliament and all MEPs from Greece.
Commission, European Parliament and an open-letter to all MEPs from Greece.
The European Free Alliance – European Political Party (EFA) is deeply concerned by the latest campaign of Greek MEPs within EU institutions to replace and in some instances eradicate the use of the term “Macedonian” to describe the Macedonian language, Macedonian culture and persons identifying as ethnic Macedonians.

Τάγμα Εθνοφυλακής Φλώρινας: Ερώτηση Π.Κοροβέση προς τον Υπουργό Εθνικής 'Αμυνας

Την περασμένη Κυριακή στο πεδίο βολής Φλώρινας, το τοπικό τάγμα εθνοφυλακής προσκάλεσε όλους τους εθνοφύλακες αλλά και όλους τους ενδιαφερόμενους πολίτες του νομού σε «προγραμματισμένη εκπαιδευτική βολή με τυφέκιο G3 A3/A4».
Η εκδήλωση γνωστοποιήθηκε με καταχωρίσεις στον τοπικό Τύπο και με εκατοντάδες αφίσες που κατέκλυσαν τους δρόμους της Φλώρινας, όπου αναφερόταν ότι θα υπάρχει δωρεάν φαγητό και απονομή αναμνηστικών πλακετών. Στην καταχώριση-αφίσα, για περαιτέρω προσέλκυση κοινού προστέθηκε η φράση «η Μακεδονία είναι Μία και Ελληνική».

Ο Αθανάσιος υιός Πλεύρη και βουλευτής του ΛΑΟΣ, γνώριμος του Ουράνιο Τόξου για τον βρυχηθμό «τα φράγκα πού τα βρήκατε;», βρυχηθμός που υποδηλώνει την πολιτική του κουλτούρα, και ο οποίος ακουγόταν κάθε φορά που ο εκπρόσωπος της οργάνωσής μας δήλωνε στους δημοσιογράφους των καναλιών που μας «έδιναν το λόγο», ότι από θέση αρχής δεν συνομιλούμε με ακροδεξιούς, επανήλθε εναντίον μας με ερωτήσεις προς τους υπουργούς Εξωτερικών και Δικαιοσύνης.

Την περασμένη Κυριακή, ένα γεγονός που υπό διαφορετικές συνθήκες θα προκαλούσε μόνο γέλιο, διαδραματίστηκε στο πεδίο βολής Φλώρινας.
Το τοπικό τάγμα εθνοφυλακής (sic!) προσκάλεσε όλους τους εθνοφύλακες αλλά και όλους τους ενδιαφερόμενους πολίτες του νομού (sic!) σε «προγραμματισμένη εκπαιδευτική βολή με τυφέκιο G3 A3/A4».

EFA – Rainbow’s participated in the 25th Anniversary of European Free Alliance – European Political Party

A delegation of the European Free Alliance – Rainbow (Rainbow) visited Brussels from 10-13 May 2006 to participate in the General Assembly of the European Free Alliance – European Political Party (EFA-EPP) in which Rainbow has been a full member since 2000.
EFA (European Free Alliance) as a coalition of parties which fights for the rights of stateless nations, minorities and peoples of the regions of Europe celebrated its 25 th anniversary on 11 May 2006 in the central chamber of the European Parliament in the presence of other political groups, MEPs and representatives of EU institutions.

EFA - Rainbow’s response to the Greek Political Party of the Ecologists – Greens

With their last press release the Eco – Greens of our country apologized for the "slanderous attack" they've suffered from the Greek Media, denouncing at the same time the event for the minorities in Greece that took place in the European parliament.
They deny their involvement by skilfully trying to separate the common European Group of Greens from EFA (European Free Alliance), who jointly, along also with the Turkish Federation of Western Thrace, organized this highly successful event in Brussels.

Succesful International Panel Discussion on minorities in Greece Held in the European Parliament

On Thursday, 17 April 2008, an international panel discussion was held in the European Parliament on the Ignored Minorities of Greece: Western Thrace Turks and Macedonians. The conference was very well attended and received much publicity in the press in the days leading up to the event.
The conference was chaired by Hans Heinrich Hansen, the President of the Federal Union of European Nationalities (FUEN).
