After our trial last autumn, Vobster is very proud to announce that we are now open 7 days a week permanently from 27th January. So no more guessing what days you can come and enjoy our facilities, as we are now open every day bar Xmas and Boxing day :-)
Yep we are fully operational, and the majority of roads around us are now fine. The tea is taking a touch longer to brew than usual, but we are forecast a barmy 7c by the end of the week.
On 13th Jan 2010 HSE inspectors Brian McGlinchy and Peter Sieniewicz will be hosting an evening aimed at clarifying and assisting with planning recreational diving operations and current best practice. The event is �5 including food, and open to all schools, but also recommended for prospective instructors. Please email us at info@vobster.com if you would like to attend to help us gauge numbers. Start time 6pm.
A big thank you to all that turned up yesterday to take part in the Scuba Santa event. We had 158 registered divers in the water, and have already raised over �4000 for the RNLI, remember when the target goes over �5000 Vobster Quay will donate an additional �1000. 
Well it is time to start preparing for this years Scuba Santa dive. This is a fantastic event raising money for the RNLI, and is also great Fun. The Santa diving event is organised by Vobster Quay in partnership with Yorkshire Divers, and is also aiming to break the world record for the most Scuba Diving Santa's. So come on down, raise a load of money and have a festive end to the diving year :).
