May 03, 2002 - Oh my, what a day for news this is turning out to be... The EQ2 site was opened, Sudden Strike 2 was finished, Morrowind came out, DOOM III will be at E3, and now this...! It's crazy. I can easily keep up (well I'm not going to lie to you).

Want to play Star Wars Galaxies? Of course you do; you'd be stupid not to. The incredibly anticipated MMO from Verant promises to take everything Star Wars to the next level, including space flight, which will come as part of the first planned expansion (big games have planned expansions before they are even released).

So you want to play, now we just have to figure out how. And that, my friend, is the easy part. In July Verant will commence a closed beta test, which will grow as time goes on. Applications to be a part of this beta have already opened.
