The advertising industry spent fifteen years figuring out how to run a campaign — and got lost. Rob Emrich, Founder and Executive Chairman of Infillion, sat down with IAB CEO David Cohen at the Infillion Café at Mondrian Cannes to make the case that composable advertising is the way back. Not another vendor. Not another layer of complexity. Fewer companies, all the necessary pieces, and a supply chain finally built around what advertisers actually want: outcomes.

Efficiency is not the same as effectiveness. That point stood out in my conversation with Katie (Risch) McAdams for episode 6 of IAB Center Seat. We talked about the pressure to keep pace with rapid change without sacrificing thoughtful, strategic decision-making. Katie also shared a smart perspective on AI: the goal should not simply be to automate more or cut resources. It should be to create a better day-to-day for employees and improve the quality of the work and outcomes. She is also leaning hard into customer marketing and more human connection Basis, from in-person events to one-on-one conversations that can surface the ideas and insights a business might otherwise miss. And her take on leadership fit the series perfectly: lead from the middle, not just the top. Listen to the people closest to the work, bring different perspectives together, and make better decisions because of it. At the end of each conversation, I ask who they’d like to hear from in the center seat. Katie’s pick: Sabrina Caluori, CMO of Chief. Episode 6 is live. #IABCenterSeat #CMO #MarketingLeadership #AI #CustomerMarketing #Leadership

🏆 "The brands winning the World Cup aren’t replacing sponsorship with creators, they’re redesigning sponsorship around creators. Sponsorship provides the access and credibility; creators provide the storytelling, participation, and cultural relevance. The sponsorship becomes the fuel, not the finished product," says IAB's Zoe Soon. Read more: https://okt.to/wnazpB #FIFAWorldCup
