👉 https://lnkd.in/etQYdzJT Quick ask: we’re running a State of Developer GTM survey. By “developer GTM,” we mean the full motion around how developer tools are discovered, evaluated, and adopted—not just DevRel in isolation. That motion has shifted a lot—COVID, tighter budgets, and now AI are all changing how teams operate. If you’re in the space, we’d really value your input. We’ll publish the report later this year and go deeper on the findings at DevRelCon New York in July.

Amazing to see two of our sibling communities Major League Hacking and The Practical Dev (Forem) come together! This is a great opportunity for #DevRel teams to reach and engage developers both online and through physical events.
We are thrilled to announce that Major League Hacking has acquired DEV (Forem)! By combining MLH’s in-person experiential learning with DEV’s daily technical publishing platform, we are building a lifelong ecosystem for software creators. Whether you're shipping your first project or you're a senior engineer picking up AI skills for the first time, you’re welcome here. Welcome to the family, DEV! ❤️ Find out more: https://tr.ee/pT7dvtNqEa #MLH #DEV #DeveloperCommunity #TechNews

Last month at DevRelCon and more, Kevin Blanco 🎬 and I did something crazy. We hauled 4 cases of equipment to Brooklyn and set up a complete video podcast studio, then recorded a whole series of interviews with other DevRel in one day. You’ve probably seen some of the interviews we’ve been sharing, but what you haven’t seen is what went into making them. 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒆’𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚: Kevin already had most of the video and lighting equipment, but not the right audio equipment to record a podcast in a noisy environment. He actually went and got the audio interface, mics and headsets right there in New York. We opened it up at the AirBnB after the first day of DevRelCon, and stayed up until midnight testing everything out! Then on day 2 of DevRelCon, we spent the first two hours setting up the equipment. 💻 Jonathan Gottfried from Major League Hacking was nice enough to let us set up in the main lounge area which had the perfect background to give the podcast a talk show type feel. I served as chief cable management officer, and Kevin and his wife did pretty much everything else. We recorded six interviews in about 5 hours, and then packed everything back up and hauled it to the AirBnB. From there, Kevin flew back to Costa Rica and started editing videos. We’re publishing one interview a week on the Appsmith blog, and the 3rd one just dropped! https://lnkd.in/eU52d659 Thank you, Kevin Blanco for all your work to make this happen, John Gottfried for letting us use the space, and Thorsten Schaeff, Jim Bennett, Harish Mukhami, Ariel Jolo , Roberto Luna Rojas and Snezana Djurisic for joining us!

Had an incredible time speaking on the keynote panel of DevRelCon and more with Shashank Goyal, Nick Baumann, and Nikita Jotwani! One of the major themes was the shift in both who your customers are (the definition of a developer is changing overnight) and how they interact with you (your docs are just as much for AI as they are for your end users). This new world poses a host of new context problems that we're tackling at Gauge.
