Jake joined Deadline in 2019 from Business Insider, where he was the UK Executive Editor, overseeing a 60-strong London bureau and serving tens of millions of readers every month. He also wrote about media and tech, breaking scoops on companies including Facebook, Amazon and the BBC. Prior to his time at Business Insider, he spent six years at Broadcast, where he rose from reporter to news editor and launched the popular Talking TV podcast. Jake is also chair of the Broadcasting Press Guild, a 45-year-old association of the UK's top media journalists.
