@JacobTheRox: It's not common to advertise RfCs like this, even for major centralized processes like GAN. To be on the safer side, was there a prior discussion about this? TechnoSquirrel69 (talk) 15:31, 11 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Actually, I'm being too precious about this. Spot-checking the mailing list, it doesn't look at all excessive or inappropriate. BERJAYA In progress TechnoSquirrel69 (talk) 15:56, 11 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Buaidh: If this is simply a reschedule and not another event, is a mass message necessary? You could ping the people who've signed up to let them know. TechnoSquirrel69 (talk) 15:56, 13 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes, this is necessary! Please send ASAP.  Buaidh  talk e-mail 20:28, 16 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Again, I'm not seeing why this is necessary. You should absolutely alert the participants of the change, but a mass message to dozens of people who have not signed up for this particular event (and have already received one message about this) seems like overkill. The community prefers that mass messages err on the side of being conservative, so I'm going to call this BERJAYA not done. TechnoSquirrel69 (talk) 21:07, 16 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

BERJAYA In progress — looks good to me on a review. I've set a calendar event for the 21st (UTC). TechnoSquirrel69 (talk) 00:55, 18 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
