Well said, Ginny. The market is saturated with devices that can track activity and sleep. Collecting data is no longer the differentiator. The real value lies in how that data is translated into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations that actually help people live healthier lives. That’s where Oura clearly stands out and stays ahead of the competition. Being part of building something that has such a tangible, positive impact on people’s well-being would be incredibly fulfilling and meaningful to me.
We've still got a long way to go .... Most people with an oura ring already have an issue they want help monitoring ... Until we have something that screens people on the go we will remain behind the curve .. But it certainly helps for sure because we live in a world where people believe health is something that works around a lifestyle... This is the beauty of time ... Because the healthy 70, 80, 90 year olds will tell you all how they did it ... Bet you my bottom dollar it won't be due to a ring ... But due to a lifestyle .. like it always has been
Hi Ginny C There was a time when this was a dream role for me, after ~5 years in sleep science and a decade now as a data scientist, and 4.5 year customer converted from Fitbit.. Unfortunately now, build quality and customer care has rapidly declined. My last oura broke after 10 months and I’m waiting a month for the replacement order to “process” Have reached out multiple times and nothing is moving. Super sad to see such a great product in decline. Good luck!
