The Arkansas Tech University chapter is showing what’s possible after just one semester. 168 members joined with 25 inducted at the chapter's first ever Induction Ceremony. That kind of momentum doesn't happen by accident. It happens when students choose to invest in their growth early and leaders on the ground make it easy for them to do so. To the newest inductees at Arkansas Tech: congratulations. You set the tone for what this chapter will become. #theNSLS #InductionCeremony

Building something from scratch is one of the best ways to build real-world, career-ready skills. The NSLS Fellowship gives students that opportunity. NSLS Campus Leadership Fellows bring the NSLS to their campus, recruiting student leaders, building an executive board, developing campus partnerships, and completing structured leadership training with mentorship built in. All while earning up to a $2,000 stipend. It's the kind of experience that stretches well beyond academics, one that builds professional communication skills, expands your network, and puts meaningful, verifiable leadership experience on your resume before graduation. For students who are self-starters, want to make an impact on campus, and are ready to lead: this is your leadership moment. When you stop comparing, you create space for confidence, clarity, and joy. NSLS member Kya Palmeiro from the University of South Florida highlights an important truth for anyone navigating academics, careers, and personal growth: “Comparison is the thief of joy.” When we stop measuring ourselves against others’ highlight reels, we create space for confidence, purpose, and self-worth. What’s something that makes you stand out from the crowd?

The Muskingum University chapter just closed out their first year with 168 members. For a campus of under 1,700 students, that is a remarkable first year. Chapter President Terrance Wright was first an NSLS member at Marshall University. After transferring to Muskingum, he made it his mission to bring the NSLS to his new school. His initiative opened the door for more students to access the same leadership development opportunities that shaped his own journey. Congratulations to every new member. #theNSLS
