Living with a clear conscience in such an affluent city as San Francisco with its myriad of problems and issues in terms of disadvantaged people is impossible. So I found a way to give back a little by collecting huge amounts of excess food from various organisations in the greater San Francisco area and delivering on to disadvantaged schools, homeless and women’s shelters, addiction centres and many more.

The Food Runners mission is to alleviate hunger and prevent food waste in San Francisco. Volunteers relay food for over 20,000 meals in San Francisco each week delivering over 15 tons of food a week that would otherwise be thrown away. -
