egghead.io was started by John Lindquist as a place to share his YouTube screencasts. Since then it's grown sharing knowledge from over a hundred individual instructors presenting 200+ courses and over 4000 individual screencast lesson videos.
Our stack
egghead is built on Rails and uses React primarily for the UI. We use AWS extensively as well as Heroku for the primary application server.
