App Hive is built on a disciplined reputation (RP) and currency (UP) system. Explore the stages below.
App Hive is a collaborative ecosystem designed to turn the stress of Google Play's 12-tester requirement into a professional growth opportunity. Our platform operates on the principle of Reciprocal Testing: you help 16 other developers publish their apps, and they do the same for you.
Every new developer starts with 500 UP (User Points) and 10 RP (Reputation). Before joining a Hive, you must complete the Mandatory Setup: sync your Google Group and configure Play Console settings.
In the Forming stage, developers join until the Hive reaches 17 members. Once full, it enters Install Pending for 24 hours. You must install all 16 peer apps during this window.
Use the Troubleshooting tool to resolve any installation blocks with guided logic.
Daily tasks reset at UTC 00:00. You must open apps and upload screenshots. Feedback is optional, but Reviewing Reports is mandatory.
After 14 days, the Hive is Completed. Rate your peers (1-5 stars) to influence their future fees. Successful graduation with 7+ RP unlocks the social ecosystem.
Don't waste weeks on forums. Switch to a system designed for developers, by developers.

Paying $50+ for bot services that get your app banned by Google.
No way to track if testers actually opened your app daily.
Instant access to 16 real developers committed to a 14-day cycle.
No emulators. Our system enforces testing on authentic Android hardware.
RP and Inactivity Points ensure everyone stays active or gets replaced.
Everything you need to know about the Hive cycle, reputation, and the technical mechanics of the community.
Yes, absolutely! Joining a Hive for closed testing is free. We operate on a reciprocal "Earn-to-Test" model:
Strictly No. To guarantee 100% compliance with Google Play's "Real User" and "Real Device" policies, App Hive is incompatible with emulators and cannot be installed on them.
Attempting to bypass these hardware restrictions will result in a permanent device ban to secure the Hive's ecosystem.
App Hive supports a wide range of hardware to ensure diverse testing environments:
App Hive operates on a dual-token economy to ensure mutual benefit:
To ensure all apps get their 14-day continuous testing, we track daily activity at UTC 00:00. Penalties are as follows:
Accumulating 10 Inactivity Points results in an automatic ban from the Hive with 3 Reputation Points (RP) deduction, and 5 points will cost you 1 RP.
If you cannot download any of the applications in your Hive, it means you have not joined the mandatory Google Group with the email address you use for the Play Store.
To ensure others can download your app, please verify your Google Play Console settings:

This is a great way for early testers to help each other with their closed testing. I looked on Fiverr and other services and this was great. I am now four days from publishing my own app. So far so good.
App Hive is an amazing system and a great community. Go find it on Reddit. I am more than halfway through my 14 day testing process and it is very reliable. Easy to use app and very responsive developer.
Very useful app for those who are developing Android apps and need to complete the tests. Easy to use. Intuitive. Nice interface.
The app is great, thanks for making the testing phase more easy, it would be great if you add a way to communicate with other testers within the app.
Just the best app for making sure you pass your 12 testers in 14 days for free.
Very clever process to encourage active testing of apps. Works on the basis of reciprocal feedback which keeps a "hive" of dedicated developers focussed on daily testing your app.
AppHive is a great platform for app developers who need help during the testing phase. It connects developers and app engineers, making it easier to exchange feedback and find bugs.
