Can a 50-year-old building help rebuild itself ❓In Puchheim, Germany, the answer is yes. When an industrial hall built with Hebel autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) reached the end of its life, its wall panels didn't become waste. Instead, they were recycled into new Hebel AAC for a larger commercial building on the same site. It's another example of how Holcim is building cities from cities—advancing circular construction and expanding high-value Building Solutions in line with our NextGen Growth 2030 strategy.
