Jake Sinclair is a GRAMMY-nominated producer and musician who was once told by Harry Connick Jr. that he "plays the shit out of the bass". Born in Idaho, he started playing music at age 7, where he discovered a love for learning and playing Beatles songs (still does). He started his first band at 11 by convincing his friends to buy instruments, and furthered his skills playing with his dad in the grownups church band. While a member of the “almost-famous-in-Germany” indie band The Films, Jake met Butch Walker and a Sensei-student bond quickly formed, leading Jake to move from NYC to LA.
He co-wrote and produced both of Panic! At The Disco’s #1 albums, "Pray for the Wicked" and "Death of a Bachelor", which include multi-platinum songs such as “High Hopes” (5X), “Hey Look Ma, I Made It” (2X), and “Death of A Bachelor” (2X). He has also produced and co-written for artists such as Fall Out Boy (including "Uma Thurman" & "Centuries"), Weezer, Sia, 5 Seconds of Summer (“She Looks So Perfect”), and Courtney Love, and has toured alongside Beck. Jake produced multiple songs for The Greatest Showman original soundtrack (certified 4X Platinum), and has worked with chart-topping artists such as Taylor Swift, Pink and Kelly Clarkson. Sinclair’s most recent production work includes Weezer’s OK Human and SZNZ: Spring, as well as the latest Panic! At the Disco record, Viva Las Vengeance.
He recently moved back to NYC with his wife, Kate Micucci,
and their son Mikey.
