Curious about the artwork outside the building? Called  "Once Upon a Storytime" it was created by the Mayor's Art Institute as a testament to the rich oral and written traditions of New Mexico. It includes imagery from more than 20 New Mexican Authors as well as a poem by an Albuquerque Poet Laureate. Click here for more information about this and other Public Art at the Public Library.

Ukulele Lending Program

Through a generous donation and support from the Albuquerque Library Foundation, the Public Library now has Ukuleles for loan to our customers. Complete with a guide for some basic chords, video instructions, and tuner. Check out more of our Special Programs from the Public Library!
