  • When comms go down at the tactical edge, operators don't just lose signal, they lose situational awareness. And that's when second-guessing starts. We’re honored to have Rear Admiral Matthew Burns, U.S. Navy (Ret.), former commander of SEAL Team Six, on Ditto’s Government Advisory Board. Thank you for your insights and firsthand perspective on operations at the edge. When a teammate gets separated on insertion, the information gap widens, and suddenly the force is split between executing the mission and figuring out where their people are. Operators at the edge need seamless connectivity that doesn't add cognitive overhead. That's exactly what Ditto's peer-to-peer mesh delivers: real-time shared understanding and zero data loss, even in DDIL environments – where connectivity is denied, degraded, intermittent, or limited – where traditional infrastructure can't keep up. When everyone sees the same common operating picture, everyone can move forward with confidence. Listen to Rear Adm. Burns on why DDIL is more than a distraction, then come see Ditto in action at SOF Week from Monday, May 18th through Wednesday, May 20th. Find us with Trellisware (Booth 313), ADS (Booth 605), and PDW (Booth 4312, outside). #Ditto #SOFWeek #SOF #TacticalEdge #MeshNetwork

  • Just shipped: Ditto SDK v5 🚀 A complete rearchitecture built on three years of learnings from mission-critical deployments in retail, restaurants, and logistics. What's new: → Automatic performance gains across queries and sync — no code changes required → Platform-native SDKs — Swift 6 concurrency, Kotlin Multiplatform, .NET 8, and zero-dependency JavaScript → Schema-free by default — field-level merging preserves concurrent updates → DQL everywhere — one query language across mobile, web, and server → Built-in observability — query your Ditto instance's internal state using DQL itself What does this mean for you? Faster apps, simpler development, and easier debugging. And for teams migrating from v4: AI-powered migration tools (90%+ success rate) plus full backwards compatibility with v4.11+. The most extensively tested release in Ditto's history. Read the full blog 👇 https://lnkd.in/eZjTj59a #EdgeComputing #DataSync #DeveloperExperience #SDK #Ditto

  • Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) demands real-time data sharing across air, land, sea, space, and cyber. But here's the hard truth: the near-peer electromagnetic environment makes that nearly impossible, especially at the tactical edge. That's why we're thrilled to have Lt. Gen. Charlie Moore, USAF (Ret.), former Deputy Commander of U.S. Cyber Command, on the Ditto Government Advisory Board. Lt. Gen. Moore knows firsthand what it takes to achieve decision advantage in contested environments — and why the data infrastructure behind JADC2 has to work with or without persistent connectivity across the battlespace. Ditto's edge sync platform was built for exactly this: resilient, real-time data sharing that doesn't depend on guaranteed connectivity. Zero data loss. Transport agnostic. Combat proven. Hear Lt. Gen. Moore break it down 👇 #JADC2 #TacticalEdge #C2 #EdgeComputing #Ditto

  • Drones are getting cheaper and more attritable. The ground control stations flying them are not. A $15,000 custom UAS controller and a $1,000 commercial Android tablet can do the same job if you put the IP stack in userspace and skip the custom firmware entirely. That's what Ditto Propagate does - NGC2-ready tactical networking, multi-radio routing, DDIL-ready, with no compromises on security. Read the full article on what we recently demonstrated for the Army's Program Manager UAS and why it matters.👇

Chick-fil-A Restaurants posted $23.9 billion in systemwide sales for 2025, up 5.2%. They added 178 net new restaurants. Texas alone opened 36! Truly incredible for a chain that's closed on Sundays. We're proud to power their POS and kitchen display systems. Ditto's mesh sync runs between the terminals, kitchen displays, and drive-thru devices in every store, so a restaurant keeps operating whether or not the internet cooperates. Chick-fil-A Restaurants did something most chains don't: they evaluated the traditional per-store edge server model and picked peer-to-peer mesh instead. No server to fail, no hardware to maintain at every location, no single point of failure inside the store. That architectural call was theirs, not ours. But when a chain this size runs a lunch rush and a regional ISP goes down, the resiliency work matters. We're a small part of that story. The operators, the kitchen teams, the franchise model, the chicken recipe. Those are what built $24 billion in annual sales. We're just proud that when something at the infrastructure layer doesn't work right, the store keeps running. That's the job. Congratulations to the Chick-fil-A Restaurants team on a huge year and the expansion ahead. QSR Magazine on the numbers: https://lnkd.in/ehMKiYGw Our case study: https://lnkd.in/gtHSvCq6

This week, Ditto heads to Cambridge. We're a proud sponsor of the Technology & National Security Conference (TechNatSec), April 3 - 4 at MIT and Harvard. This year's theme is "Innovating at the Front Lines" — and the front lines are exactly where Ditto keeps operations unstoppable. Our software is built for the tactical edge, when the network won't cooperate — DDIL environments, fractured mesh, contested comms — providing the sync infrastructure that mission success depends upon. TechNatSec is a student-run event that's grown from ~100 attendees in 2023 to over 1,200 last year. That kind of momentum reflects where the next generation of national security talent is focused. Heading to the event? Eric Hanft, Head of Public Sector, will be on-site and would love to connect. #TechNatSec #ActaNonVerba #DefenseTech #TacticalEdge #DDIL

Last week, the Ditto team traded our screens for the streets of New Orleans, gathering our remote-first workforce for an in-person meetup 🎷 We kicked things off with team dinners at a variety of amazing restaurants across town, got our steps in with a TAKathon (think: city-wide scavenger hunt using Ditto's TAK product suite), our very own Second Line parade through the streets of NOLA (complete with a brass band and police escort!), and capped it all of with a sunset riverboat cruise. At Ditto, we believe the best team is built beyond the office. Trips like this aren't just a perk, they're part of how we invest in the people who make everything possible. We're proud of this crew, and we're always looking for great people to join us. 👀 👉 Want to join? https://lnkd.in/e2k7JWHp #LifeAtDitto #Hiring #P2P

Running an old version of React Native (pre-0.60) is the mobile equivalent of running your business on a mainframe, it works, until it doesn't. Modern React Native is the cloud: faster, more capable, and built to scale with the demands of today's devices and platforms. In 2026, the stakes are higher than ever. React Native 0.82 has fully dropped the Legacy Architecture and there's no opt-out. Apple and Google are enforcing new platform requirements. Teams that haven't modernized are already accumulating technical debt that will only get more expensive to address. We wrote a deep dive covering everything you need to know: the New Architecture, React Compiler, Hermes V1 performance gains, Android 16 edge-to-edge requirements, and iOS UISceneDelegate changes. If keeping your app running on modern devices is a priority, and it should be, this is your 2026 roadmap. 👇 https://lnkd.in/eaSjJxGd #ReactNative #ReactExpo #MobileDev #OfflineFirst

Flutter in 2026: Why We're Bullish 🩵 Cross-platform development has evolved, and Flutter is leading the pack. The numbers tell the story: growing enterprise adoption, expanding platform support, and continuous performance improvements that close the gap with native development. For teams balancing speed-to-market with app quality, Flutter delivers both. The ecosystem is mature, the tooling is solid, and the community keeps pushing boundaries. Our latest analysis explores why 2026 is Flutter's year: https://lnkd.in/epj3_vHw #Flutter #AppDevelopment #MobileTech #EngineeringLeadership

The fastest QSR isn't the one with the shortest timer. It's the one where nothing goes wrong. Speed is easy to measure. Smoothness isn't. But every botched order, every sync failure, every scrambling crew member undoes hours of optimization. The real question for QSR operators: Are you optimizing for the timer, or for the full customer experience? 🥤 https://lnkd.in/gNqwDfhS #OfflineFirst #RestaurantTech #CustomerExperience
