  • Most cyber incidents don’t begin with sophisticated, high‑end attacks. They start with everyday behaviours – the small, human shortcuts we all take when we’re busy, distracted or simply unaware of the risks. Things like:   ❌ postponing software updates,   ❌ reusing the same password “just this once”,   ❌ skipping MFA because it feels inconvenient,   ❌ clicking before thinking,   ❌ assuming that “it won’t happen to me”. From an insurer’s perspective, these behaviours matter enormously. They’re among the most common root causes of cyber incidents – and they’re also the easiest to change. That’s where insurers can play a meaningful role. Imagine policies that don’t just compensate for losses, but actively reward safer digital habits:   ✅ enabling MFA on key accounts,   ✅ using a secure password manager,   ✅ completing short self-awareness training sessions,   ✅ following recommended device settings,   ✅ or regularly reviewing privacy and security configurations. These aren’t abstract best practices. They’re measurable actions that directly reduce the likelihood of a successful attack – and, in turn, reduce claim frequency and severity. The full article by Bartłomiej Zimny, MBA ▶️ https://lnkd.in/dtYHU5nV highlights how insurers can weave these micro‑interventions into their products, turning everyday interactions into opportunities to strengthen customers’ digital resilience. It’s a practical, behaviour‑driven approach that aligns customer safety with business outcomes. It raises a useful question for anyone shaping cyber insurance products today: which everyday digital habit, if improved, would most reduce the number of incidents you see?

----------------   We are proud to reflect on a memorable time at the #GuidewireInsuranceForum Tokyo 2026, where we were represented by our Japan GEO Lead Akito Haruguchi.   #GIF brought together insurers, partners, and technology leaders in a spirit of genuine collaboration – with @Guidewire's leadership showing strong dedication to the future of the Japanese market.   We were especially honoured when @Tadashi Yamanaka, from @Sompo Direct, highlighted our partnership during the panel – noting that Sollers worked with them as one team, and expressing his hope that more partners would embrace the same ethos. Words like these mean a great deal to us.   Thank you to Guidewire and all participants for making this event such a valuable platform for the industry. We look forward to building on the conversations started in Tokyo.

  • 〰️ "When I look back over the past 25 years, the most transformative developments were not necessarily the most visible ones. For Texas Mutual, the early move to paperless operations in the mid-1990’s fundamentally reshaped how we function."  〰️ "Our most important transformations didn’t come from flashy technology. They came from making deliberate, foundational decisions – like eliminating paper and using data well – long before those choices were fashionable." 〰️ "Texas Mutual is mission driven rather than purely profit driven, our goal is to strengthen Texas businesses over the long term. That perspective allows us to view market pressure not as a threat, but as a call to evolve responsibly maintaining stability while continuously improving efficiency and resilience." What do these reflections have in common? A reminder that real transformation rarely starts with noise – it starts with intent. In our latest interview #CEOvoices with Jeanette Ward, CPCU, one theme kept coming back: the most meaningful change at Texas Mutual Insurance Company wasn’t driven by flashy technology, but by deliberate, foundational decisions. 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱‑𝟵𝟬𝘀. 𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻‑𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁‑𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲. It’s a conversation full of grounded, reasonable insights about what long‑term resilience actually looks like – and why responsible evolution matters just as much as innovation. • For over 600 years, people have been travelling to Cologne for something worth seeing. This year, we're adding one more reason. #insureNXT is where the #InsuranceIndustry comes to think bigger. The International Congress & Expo for Innovation brings together the people actively rewriting the rules of the sector – from cutting-edge insurtech to the future of underwriting, distribution, and customer experience. If you care about where this industry is heading, this is not an event to sit out. For us, attending isn't just about staying informed. It's about being part of the conversation, meeting the people driving change, and bringing those insights back to everything we do for our clients. The industry evolves fastest when ideas get challenged in person – and that's exactly what insureNXT is built for. Martin Seibold, Ira Klefisch, and Robert Nis Nonnewitz are going to represent our team. Three people who genuinely love talking about what's next – and who will make the most of every session, every corridor conversation, and every connection made. Heading to insureNXT? Keep an eye out for the white polos and beige trousers – that's our team. Walk up, say hello, and let's talk about what's coming next.

  • Is your insurance data an asset – or a liability? Most insurers are sitting on a goldmine of data. Telematics, IoT, behavioural signals, climate data. Yet many are still held back by legacy systems, poor data quality, and siloed architectures that make real-time analytics nearly impossible. In his latest article, Lukasz Terlecki, our Head of Data, breaks down why data management has become the #1 priority in #insuranceIT – and what it actually takes to fix it. Real cases. Practical solutions. No buzzword bingo. 👇 What's the biggest data challenge in your organisation right now? Curious to see how these transformations were achieved in practice?  👉 Read the full article for a detailed breakdown of each case. #SollersInsights

  • Manchester delivered! 👍 10,000 people and an energy that no virtual event has ever quite managed to replicate. #BIBA2026 was less about sitting in sessions and more about the conversations that happen in the corridors, over coffee, and between the talks – and that's exactly what made it worth the trip. Three things stayed with us: 1️⃣ The industry knows that customers must come first – not as a slogan, but as a discipline. Building real mechanisms to listen, capture and act on feedback is no longer optional. It's the work. 2️⃣ AI is visibly moving into the everyday – supporting automation, speeding up processes, reducing friction. But the decisions? They stay with people. That balance feels right, and the room seemed to agree. 3️⃣ And underneath all of it – the relationships. That's what #BIBA really is. A big thank you to the organisers for creating a space where this kind of exchange is possible. And to everyone who sat down with Charles Whatling and Michał Litwiński, PhD for a conversation – we genuinely value the time and the honesty you brought to it. Those discussions don't end in Manchester.

  • What if the most expensive Guidewire environment you'll ever work with doesn't look expensive at all? That's the uncomfortable truth many insurance organizations discover too late – usually mid-migration or during a failed release cycle, when remediation costs have already spiraled beyond original estimates. The culprit is rarely platform size. It's complexity: the kind that accumulates quietly over years of delivery pressure, architectural shortcuts, and inconsistent engineering practices – invisible until it isn't. Patryk Ladzinski wrote about what drives this pattern, how to recognize it early, and why continuous quality visibility is becoming a strategic priority for mature Guidewire organizations. If you're planning a modernization initiative or simply want to understand what's really driving your delivery costs, this one's worth a read. Read the full article ⬇️⬇️⬇️
