Warfel Construction Company is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our fast-paced, team-oriented organization based out of our East Petersburg, PA office. The Business Intelligence Analyst will help Warfel build and scale a modern, trusted data environment by translating data into reliable insights that driver better decisions across finance, project management, and leadership.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsibilities:
Design and build Power BI dashboards and reports used by project managers, regional GMs, and executive leadership
Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into clean, reliable outputs
Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Own the WIP reporting process end to end - take the underlying job cost data and get it to where it needs to be so that Warfel has a clean, reliable, fully functioning WIP report accessible through Power BI that leadership can depend on
Maintain and improve reporting as business needs evolve
Document all report builds, data definitions, and process logic as work is completed
Establish and maintain naming conventions and system-of-record designations across the reporting environment
Build documentation that supports knowledge transfer — this function needs to be sustainable beyond any one person
Serve as an integral part of Warfel's third-party data vendor engagement, supporting deliverable review and helping ensure outputs meet business reporting requirements
Collaborate with vendor and internal teams to flag gaps and ensure scope is being executed as intended
Collaborate with IT on system access and platform configuration
Develop a working understanding of how data flows from source systems into Microsoft Fabric
Support pipeline validation — flag refresh failures or data inconsistencies when they surface in reporting
Qualifications
Understanding of data warehouse and lakehouse concepts — familiarity with how data is structured, stored, and made available for reporting
Power BI development experience - you have built dashboards that real users rely on
Experience working with data from multiple source systems and translating it into reliable reporting outputs
Strong communication skills — you can explain what the data means to someone who does not live in spreadsheets, validate that the numbers are correct, and give stakeholders confidence in what they're looking at
DAX proficiency - writing calculated measures and columns, not just using defaults
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or Azure-based data platforms
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit for long periods of time, with significant use of a computer and other office equipment (i.e. calculator, telephone, copy machine, or printer).
Frequently communicates with internal, and sometimes external clients to exchange correct and accurate information
