Our new blog for higher education institutions is now live! This forum will feature fresh insights on TOEFL research, international student trends, and English learning and assessment. This week, our featured post offers a view from researchers in Vietnam who created a theoretical framework that aids the creation of "learning-centered practices in contemporary language learning environments." If you're attending the NAFSA: Association of International Educators annual conference this year and you'd like to feature your research on your blog, come find our TOEFL booth in Orlando! https://lnkd.in/ep95PrER

Access to education is often about more than ability, it’s about timing, logistics, and opportunity. ✨ Afghan Female Student Outreach (AFSO) supports Afghan women who were forced out of higher education by providing instruction, preparation, and pathways forward. For many students, access to an official TOEFL score is a critical step toward scholarships and university admission abroad. Through collaboration and timely support, students have been able to pursue higher education across Europe and Asia, changing academic trajectories and opening new futures. This work is a reminder of what’s possible when access meets opportunity. 🎓 🔗 Read more: https://bit.ly/3QZy2aM

Australia continues to hold strong appeal for international students. But today, attraction alone is not enough. Student decisions are increasingly shaped by confidence: in visa policy, affordability, timelines, and the overall predictability of the journey. When policy changes become frequent, uncertainty grows. And when uncertainty grows, hesitation follows. For the sector, the message is clear: demand is driven not only by destination appeal, but by trust. Stability, clarity, and consistency are strategic signals. Students may still want to choose Australia, but whether they do depends on how secure that choice feels. A timely perspective from Omar Chihane in The Koala News. #InternationalEducation #StudentMobility #StudyAbroad #HigherEducation #EducationPolicy

English does not belong to one accent, one country, or one way of speaking. It lives in classrooms, interviews, applications, and everyday conversations across the world. It sounds different everywhere, and that is exactly what makes it powerful. With You Speak World, TOEFL celebrates the many voices shaping global communication today and the confidence it takes to use your voice to move forward. This music video is a celebration of students, ambition, and the many ways English is spoken around the world. You Speak World. #TOEFL #YouSpeakWorld #TheWorldsEnglishTest
