Perfect for Rust Treatment and One-Time Use Projects

I originally purchased these for rust treatment and similar automotive projects where I knew the brushes would likely be exposed to chemicals, coatings, and products that would be difficult to clean afterward. For that purpose, they have been excellent.

The bristles hold up well during use, apply products evenly, and do not shed excessively like some inexpensive brushes can. They are inexpensive enough that I do not feel guilty using them for messy jobs where saving the brush afterward is not really practical.

I have used them for rust converters, primers, touch-up work, and other garage projects where precision matters more than using an expensive professional brush. The variety of sizes and angled brushes is also helpful for getting into corners, seams, and tighter areas.

They arrived well packaged, and the overall quality was better than expected for the price. While professional painters may have different needs, these are perfect to keep on hand for automotive projects, maintenance work, stains, adhesives, rust treatment, and other jobs where a reliable disposable brush is exactly what you need.

I'm lucky enough to have a decent sized home. The original colors of my home were quite ugly, thus I may have gotten a slightly better deal had the walls, baseboards, doors etc. been painted by a pro guided by an interior designer. That said, I've been pleasantly surprised by these brushes. Here's what I've discovered:

1) I was slightly concerned by the non-finished wood handles thinking they didn't take an extra step to paint/seal the handles and by extension the bristles may not be good. I was wrong. The natural wood handles make it much easier to grip each paint brush.

2) The bristles (I appear to be nylon or polyester) are of awesome quality. They do not shed. They stay put. The bristle tips are fine and allow for great cuts when painting - whether it is a wall to a ceiling, a baseboard, trim - you name it. They clean up nice with soap and water. FYI: I only use water soluble Latex or Acrylic paint of good quality.

3) This assortment of brushes lets me choose whichever brush will work best and fit whichever surface I am painting. They are therefore comfortable to use and fit just about any job - from small detail work to larger surfaces. For instance, I used the largest brush to paint a liquid membrane on my mortar bed shower floor.

4) Wow. What a value! If I bought a single brush at my local hardware/big box store, it would have easily been the price for this entire lot! I was so impressed with the performance of these I bought a second set worried they may not be available in the future.

5) Durability is something I never would have guessed I'd be getting at this price point. With a little TLC (clean after painting and allow to dry without letting the metal hang out in water for long periods of time) and you'll be rewarded with many, many uses for each brush.

Again - I am pleasantly surprised at what I purchased here as I would historically only go to my hardware store and buy one or two brushes at a time for at least $9.00 or more each!

These are decent brushes for the price but are a little bit too soft of a bristle for me. Just my opinion they work well but I prefer a stiffer brush for cutting in edges. For general painting they are just fine and do a good job. Haven’t used them a lot so can’t vouch for longevity of the brush.

Purchased for a remodeling project. Although they have wooden handles these are lightweight brushes. The bristles are soft and are of good quality. Worked great for this project and we already ordered more.

I order a LOT from Amazon, but don't often post reviews. However, these paint brushes are EXCELLENT! I'm using them with a satin finish latex paint in my bathroom. There are few brush strokes and the clean-up has been great, though I'll bever use anything but washable flat going forward. I've used the brush in the photo twice, rinsing only with cold water. Look how good those bristles looks! Incredible buy!

Phenomenal customer service!. Amazon accidentally sent me a five set that was missing a brush clearly from someone stealing and returning. The company made it right and sent me a new pack with no hassle. And the brushes are incredible. Such a great price for a brush that makes it worth it to just throw it out when you're done, but yet quality enough that it's worth rinsing out and using for your next project. Quality every time with low maintenance either way!

No shedding and bristles are of great quality. The variety of sizes make it simple to finish a painting project. The bristles are soft and paint goes on very smoothly.

I picked up this 5-piece Pro Grade paint brush set for a home project and honestly wasn’t expecting them to perform this well at this price point. The brushes held their shape nicely and didn’t shed bristles while I was painting, which is always my biggest concern with affordable brush sets.

The angled brush made cutting in around trim and edges much easier, and the flat brushes worked great on larger wall areas and cabinets. I used them with latex paint and stain and they handled both really well. Cleanup was simple and they were sturdy enough to reuse without falling apart after the first project.

These are perfect whether you’re doing touch-ups, furniture, cabinets, or full room painting. Definitely a great value set to keep on hand for DIY projects.
