The mission of the Notables Project is twofold:
- Create and Improve Profiles for notable individuals from around the world and throughout history.
- Protect the Privacy of all Living Notables in accordance with WikiTree’s Living Notables Policy.

- Request to Join: Post a message on our monthly G2G thread. Tell us a bit about yourself and why you are interested in joining the Project.
- Get Your Badge: Once approved, you’ll receive the Notables badge and will be added to our Membership List.
- Get Involved:
- Adopt an unsourced or underdeveloped profile
- Help connect and verify an unconnected notable
- Join or form a subproject by profession or region
- Nominate a great profile for recognition
